The Lincoln Academy girls soccer team tied Gray/New Gloucester 2-2 under the lights in Newcastle on October 8. Mariam DeLisle scored both Eagles goals, with Ava Lord and Hannah Abello picking up assists. Scoring for Gray were Ashley Anderson and Laney Farrar.

The Medomak Valley girls soccer team defeated MCI 8-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in the Panthers den. The Lady Panthers netted four goals in each half, led by Scarlett Flint with four goals. Flint netted the final two goals of the game to tie the school record.  Haylee Chandler added two goals and Kytana Williamson and Grace Townsend one each.

The hot hitting Medomak Valley softball  team beat Morse 17-0 in four innings by 15 run mercy ruling. Madi Boynton gave up just one walk and three hits, and struck out seven in the win. The Lady Panthers were led at the plate by Claudia Feeley and Kendall Simmons with a homerun and single each, Haley Puchalski with four singles, Sara Nelson two doubles, and Sidney Nichols a double and single.

Medomak Valley baseball defeated Morse 11-1 on Monday, April 22. Porter Gahagan (10K, 3H, 2B) collected the win  in the six inning mercy ruling win. The Panthers were led at the plate by Sam Moody with a double and single, Donnie Havener two singles, and Walker Simmons a two run double.

The Medomak Valley boys tennis team swept Cony 5-0 in the Panthers den on Monday, April 22.

Stepping Stone Housing Inc. celebrated its 10 anniversary with the annual Serving to Prevent Homelessness Tournament, held at the CLC YMCA in Damariscotta on Saturday, March 9.

The Oceanside boys basketball team jumped out to a 20-8 first quarter lead and 44-20 halftime advantage. The Eagles played the Mariners even in the second frame but were unable to undue the first half damage, losing 73-48 in the South Class B Regional championship game on Friday, Feb. 23 at the Portland Expo. Cohen and Carter Galley lit up the nets to score 32 of Oceanside’s 44 first half points. While the Mariners were hot inside and out, the Eagles struggled from the floor. Lincoln was led by senior Casey Duncan with 17 points, and Gabe Hagar 13. Oceanside was led by Carter Galley with 35 and Cohen Galley 13.

The top seed and undefeated Oceanside boys basketball team beat fourth seed Medomak Valley 46-32 in a South Class B semi-final game on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the Portland Expo. With the win, Oceanside advances to the Regional championship game against Lincoln Academy. The South B Regional finals will be held Friday, Feb. 23 at 3:45 p.m. at the Portland Expo.

Medomak Valley had plenty of good looks and good shots, but struggled to find the cylinder.
