Medomak Baseball Holds off Morse Medomak 6 - Morse 4
Medomak Valley baseball held off Morse to pick up their second win of the season on May 10. Matt Holbrook collected the win (5H, 3B, 11K). Ethan Reed with three for four at the plate with a double and Aiden Starr two for three with a double to lead the Panthers at the plate. Cahill hit a triple and two singles and Ty Knowlton a triple to lead Morse at the plate.
May 7 Scores Medomak and Lincoln softball pick up wins
Addison McCormick struck out nine in Medomak softball’s 22-6 win at Mt.View on May 7. Medomak was led at the plate by Bella LaFrance with a double and two singles (3RBI), Eliza Nelson a double and single (6RBI), Lucy Jameson with two hits, and Alyssa Creamer and Bella LaFrance a double each.
May 5 Games Postponed Due to impending rain
Lincoln Academy has postponed baseball, softball and girls lacrosse games, scheduled for Wednesday, May 5. Baseball and softball will be made up on Saturday, May 8 at 3 p.m. at LA. Girls lacrosse will be made up on Thursday, May 6 at 5:30 p.m. at LA.
Medomak Softball Clip the Eagles Medomak 8 - Lincoln 4
Medomak Valley softball defeated Lincoln Academy 8-4 on May 3 on the Panthers diamond. Ally Creamer started the game and pitched to two batters before taking a line drive off the shin. Maddi Boynton collected the win. Grace Houghton took the loss for the Eagles.
True Fires Up No-Hitter for Eagles Lincoln 1 - Medomak 0
Nathan True pitched a no-hitter to lead Lincoln Academy to a 1-0 win at Medomak Valley on May 3. True struck out 13 and walked three in the win. The game was a pitcher’s battle between True and Panther Matt Holbrook (10K, 2H, 2B).
April 30 Athletic Events Postponed
Lincoln Academy varsity softball and baseball games, scheduled for Fri., April 30 with Brunswick, have been postponed. They will be made up at Brunswick on May 6 at 4 p.m.
Daigle Breaks Medomak 3200m Record Medomak girls win meet with 11 first places
Connor Daigle broke the Medomak Valley 3200m record on April 28 at a track and field meet in Bath. The record, previously owned by Stacy Bryant was set 39 years ago in 1981 in a time of 9:56.8. Daigle broke the school record with a first place finish in 9:48.37.
Camden Beats Medomak with Walk-off Single Camden Hills 8- Medomak 7
Camden Hills defeated Medomak Valley baseball 8-7 in dramatic fashion on April 26 on the Windjammers turf. Aiden Schecter hit a walk-off single with one out in the bottom of the seventh, scoring Hunter Norton for the winning run.
Medomak Softball 3-0 Medomak 14 - Camden 1
Medomak Valley softball team improved to 3-0 with a 14-1 win at Camden Hills on April 26. The Lady Panthers have won all three of their games by five inning mercy ruling. Three different pitchers made their varsity debut in the three wins. Madi Boynton won game one, Allyssa Creamer won game two, and Addison McCormick collected the win over Camden in her varsity debut on Monday.

Lincoln Academy Postpones Season Until April 28
Lincoln Academy postponed their spring season due to a COVID-91 outbreak at the Newcastle school. They will start their season on Wednesday, April 28.
Lady Panthers Smash 15 Hits in Season Opener Medomak 17 - Belfast 1
Medomak Valley softball opened their season with a 17-1 five inning mercy ruling win at Belfast on April 20.
Lions Baseball Win Battle of Big Cats Belfast 7 - Medomak 1
Belfast defeated Medomak Valley’s baseball team 7-1 on April 10 in the Lions’ den. Belfast jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first then added five runs in the third. Medomak scored their lone run in the sixth. Chris Kelley collected the win for Belfast and Kallon Mortinson took the loss.
