Medomak Valley girls basketball team improved to 5-1 with a 65-40 romp over Morse on Feb. 5 in Waldoboro. The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 20-8 lead and built on it over the next three quarters to win by 25.
Lady Eagles Sink the Windjammers Lincoln 40 - Camden 32
Lincoln Academy girls basketball won a game on the road, 40-32 over Camden Hills on Feb. 5. The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 13-7 quarter lead and maintained the lead to improve to 3-1 on the season.
Camden Sails Over Eagles Camden Hills 85 - Lincoln 39
Camden Hills boys basketball team sailed over the Eagles 85-39 on Feb. 5 in Newcastle. The Windjammers were led by Liam O’Neal 11, Hunter Bell 10 and Hunter Norton 9. Lincoln was led by Gabe Hagar with 11, Tucker Stiles 9 and Riley DeLisle 7.
Wrestlers May Start Practicing, But No Matches Yet
The Maine Principals’ Association’s wrestling committee met Wednesday, Feb. 3 to discuss the fate of the 2021 wrestling season. The season has been delayed due to elevated COVID-19 numbers and wrestling being in a high-risk category.

Winthrop girls basketball team robbed the Seahawk nest for a 44-26 win on Feb. 4. The Ramblers were led by Sage Fortin with `6 points, Madison Forgue 12 and Maddie Perkins 9. Boothbay was led by Jaelyn Crocker with 10 and Glory Blethen 8.
Camden Hands Medomak Boys Their First Loss Camden 72 - Medomak 44
Medomak was unable to get their offense rolling on Feb. 3 in a home game against Camden Hills, falling 72-44.
Lady Panthers Sink the Windjammers Medomak 48 - Camden 34
Medomak Valley girls basketball team defeated Camden Hills 48-34 on the road on Feb. 3. The Lady Panthers led 15-7, 23-11 and 39-15 at the quarter breaks, then held off a late surge from the Windjammers. Medomak was led by Abby Lash with 17 points, and Addison McCormick with 10. Camden was led by Ella Powers with 9.
Oceanside Tops Younger Eagles Oceanside 77 - Lincoln 58
Oceanside defended their home court for a 77-58 win over Lincoln Academy on Jan. 30.
Mariners Clip Lady Eagles Oceanside 64 - Lincoln 43
Oceanside girls basketball team robbed the Eagles nest for a 64-43 win on Jan. 30. The Mariners opened up an early lead with outside shooting and led 16-7 at the quarter break. The Mariners led by as many as 14 in the second frame, before the Eagles went on a 10-1 run to pull within five. Oceanside led 27-19 at the half then put the hammer down on defense in the third period, forcing 11 Eagle turnovers, including nine steals in the quarter.
Medomak Boys Crush Shipbuilders Medomak 70 - Morse 42
Medomak Valley boys basketball team defended their Panther den for a 70-42 win over Morse on Jan. 29. Medomak jumped out to a 17-9 lead and extended it to 38-21 at the half and 62-37 at the end of three. The Panthers out rebounded the Shipbuilders by a two to one margin, led by Finn Parmley with seven boards.

Medomak Valley girls basketball team defeated Morse in Bath on Jan. 29, 46-33.
Lady Eagles Improve to 2-0 Coach Kevin Feltis earns 100th career win
The Lady Eagles scraped out a 38-33 win over Morse in Shipbuilder territory on Jan. 28 to improve their record to 2-0. The win was the 100th career for coach Kevin Feltis.
