Boothbay Region girls basketball team rallied in the second half to pull out a 36-28 win at Richmond on Feb. 11. The win was the second of the season for the Lady Seahawks and snaps a three game losing streak.
Boothbay Boys Hold Off the Bobcats Boothbay 53 - Richmond 49
Boothbay boys basketball team defeated Richmond 53-49 on Feb. 11 in the Seahawks nest. Boothbay led 13-9 at the quarter, and 25-15 at the half. Richmond cut the lead to six early in the third period. The Seahawks answered the threat with a 16-4 run to take an 18 point lead.
Lincoln vs. Morse Games Moved Up Rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 15
Due to the impending storm on Tuesday, Feb. 16, Lincoln Academy girls and boys basketball games with Morse have been moved to Monday, Feb. 15.
Oceanside Girls Net 17 3-Pointers in Win Over Boothbay Oceanside 70 - Boothbay 48
Oceanside girls basketball team sank 17 3-pointers in their 70-48 win over Boothbay Region on Wed., Feb. 10 in the Seahawk nest. Seven of those threes came in the first quarter, as the Mariners got off to a quick start, leading 23-8 at the break. Boothbay played them even in the second frame, trailing 40-24 at the half.
Panthers Hold Off Lions Medomak 55 - Belfast 46
Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Belfast 55-46 in the Panthers den on Tues., Feb. 9. The Panthers jumped out to an 8-0 lead and led 14-7 at the quarter, 23-13 at the half and 35-29 at the end of three.

Medomak Valley girls basketball team defeated Belfast 61-31 in the Lions den on Feb. 9.
Panthers Back on Winning Track Medomak 49 - Morse 39
Medomak Valley boys basketball team got back on the winning track with a 49-37 victory at Morse on Feb. 5.
Medomak Girls Beat Morse at Home Medomak 65 - Morse 40
Medomak Valley girls basketball team improved to 5-1 with a 65-40 romp over Morse on Feb. 5 in Waldoboro. The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 20-8 lead and built on it over the next three quarters to win by 25.
Lady Eagles Sink the Windjammers Lincoln 40 - Camden 32
Lincoln Academy girls basketball won a game on the road, 40-32 over Camden Hills on Feb. 5. The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 13-7 quarter lead and maintained the lead to improve to 3-1 on the season.
Camden Sails Over Eagles Camden Hills 85 - Lincoln 39
Camden Hills boys basketball team sailed over the Eagles 85-39 on Feb. 5 in Newcastle. The Windjammers were led by Liam O’Neal 11, Hunter Bell 10 and Hunter Norton 9. Lincoln was led by Gabe Hagar with 11, Tucker Stiles 9 and Riley DeLisle 7.
Wrestlers May Start Practicing, But No Matches Yet
The Maine Principals’ Association’s wrestling committee met Wednesday, Feb. 3 to discuss the fate of the 2021 wrestling season. The season has been delayed due to elevated COVID-19 numbers and wrestling being in a high-risk category.

Camden Hands Medomak Boys Their First Loss Camden 72 - Medomak 44
Medomak was unable to get their offense rolling on Feb. 3 in a home game against Camden Hills, falling 72-44.
