Thelma D. Ripley, 87, of Waldoboro, passed away at the Sussman House in Rockport on Sept. 21, 2020 with her family by her side.

David P. Hodgdon, 88, of Birch Point Road, Wiscasset, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2020 at his residence.

Charles Merle Vanner, 68, of Washington, passed away peacefully from a sudden illness with his loving family at his side on Sept. 22, 2020 at the Sussman House in Rockport. Charles was born on Feb. 10, 1952 in Gardiner to Merle E. Vanner and Alberta (Sedgley) Vanner.

Gerald Leon Brann, 73, passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of Sept. 19, 2020. He was born on March 9, 1947 in Gardiner to Walter “Mike” Brann and Bernita Allen Brann.

Jeffery B. Bradbury, 73, of Damariscotta, passed away the evening of Sept. 21, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Avis M. (Genthner) Swift, 90 years of age, a lifelong resident of Maine, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Cedars Nursing Care Center in Portland on Sept. 19, 2020.

Mary Jane (Carroll) Doucette, of Winchester, Mass., passed away peacefully Sept. 17, 2020 at the age of 89.

Elizabeth Cherry Owen, 64, passed away, after a brief illness, on Aug. 5, 2020 in Rockport. Formerly from Baton Rouge, La., Elizabeth had lived in Nobleboro since 2005.

Carol Ann Jones (MacAskill) passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020 with family by her side. She was born on Feb. 9, 1943, in Waltham, Mass. and attended Traip Academy (class of ’61), followed by the nursing program at Maine Medical Center.

Ralph Wessenger Hilton, born Oct. 23, 1922 in North Newcastle to Clarence and Beatrice (Hodgkins) Hilton, passed away on Sept. 3, 2020.

Charles W. Bowden, 87, of Jefferson, passed away at the Sussman House in Rockport on Sept. 14, 2020 with his family by his side. Charlie was born on May 9, 1933 in Gardiner, to Otto H. Bowden Sr. and Mabel (Shuman) Bowden.
