William A. Cade, Jr. was born Sept. 30, 1945 in Norwalk, Conn. to William and Lillian Cade. He died peacefully at home in Bell, Fla. on Aug. 10, 2021.

Martha L. Brackett, 87, of Bristol, passed on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021 with her husband by her side, at Sussman House Hospice in Rockport, after a long illness.

John Whitney Wagner, 66, of Seabeck, Wash. and East Boothbay, died unexpectedly but peacefully on Aug. 15, 2021, with his wife Barbara by his side. He was born Oct. 25, 1954 in Tarrytown, N.Y., to Edward and Audrey Leek Wagner.

Suzanne O. Carlson passed away Aug. 7, 2021, shortly before her 82nd birthday. Suzanne was born in Worcester, Mass., on Aug. 20, 1939.

Gary I. Lawyerson died Aug. 14, 2021 at his home in Waldoboro. Gary was born Dec. 14, 1950 in Fort Lee, Va. to Ivan and Patricia (Carey) Laweryson. He grew up in Moscow and Bingham and graduated from Valley High School. During his high school years, Gary excelled at basketball and fought forest fires on the “Hotshot Crew.” He also taught swimming lessons.

The Rev. Dr. Edward James Wynne Jr. completed his earthly journey peacefully on Aug. 23, 2021, surrounded by his family. They will miss him, as will the countless others whose lives he touched through his ministry.

Leora (Lee) Robbins of New Harbor passed away peacefully at LincolnHealth-Miles Campus in Damariscotta, surrounded by family on Aug. 17, 2021. Her gentle humor, loving spirit, and interest in the world lasted until her final days. A generous and devoted matriarch to a large extended family, Lee was a lover of books, animals, and the wonders of life in general.

Wanda Mae Decker Macnair of Cambridge, Mass., passed away peacefully at Brightview Senior Living in Arlington, Mass. on Aug. 19, 2021.

Joan Niles, 88, died peacefully at Penney Farms Retirement Community in Florida on Aug. 8, 2021 and will be dearly missed. Her family has lived on Rutherford Island since the early 1950s.

The Reverend Charles “Chuck” Allan Reinhardt, of Eugene, Ore. — beloved minister, deeply thoughtful humanist, dedicated activist of civil and social justice — passed away on Aug. 9, 2021, aged 94.

Diane Leslie Blake passed away after a long battle with cancer on Aug. 16, 2021, at Sussman House in Rockport. Born Dec. 7, 1944, she was the youngest of three daughters born to William F. Blaisdell and Eleanor E. Blaisdell.

John Barton Haines, of Deland, Fla., and until recently of Damariscotta, died peacefully on Aug. 13, 2021, after a short illness. He was the eldest son of Reuben and Sara (Sally) Emery Haines and was born in Massena, N.Y., on Oct. 16, 1941.
