Alex Diamond, 87, of Bristol, passed away on July 26, 2020, out and about doing the things he loved; he wasn’t one to be kept down. Alex was born in Germany on Feb. 1, 1933 to Max and Ida Diamond. At 7 years old, he and his family migrated to England to escape Nazi occupation of Germany. They lived on a farm in Speen, which was a great adventure for a city boy!

Marilyn Davis, 84, of Pemaquid, passed away on the morning of July 31 at Round Pond Green in Round Pond. She was born on Dec. 26, 1935 and was raised in North Anson.

Robert “Bob” Lawson Jr., 52, of Cushing, passed away at his home on the afternoon of July 28, 2020. The son of Janis (Simmons) Lawson and Robert Lawson, Bobby was born on Nov. 2, 1967 in Rockland.

Geraldine “Gerry” Josephine Fahey, age 86, of Westbrook, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2020. Ever the fighter, she won the first round, but lost the battle to cancer. She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving family at her bedside.

John Cameron Bishop Jr., of Jefferson, died at home on Saturday, July 25, 2020. He was born June 9, 1943 in Boston and grew up in Newburyport, Mass., as the son of the late John Cameron Bishop Sr. and Irene Nevins Bishop.

Evelyn N. Peaslee Gaboury Colby, 92, died July 30, 2020 at Gray Birch Long Term Care in Augusta. She was born Dec. 24, 1927 in Somerville to Guy F. Peaslee and Leola Benner Peaslee.

Leigh Payson Campbell, 79, of Washington Street, Wiscasset, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

James Charles Ainger, 84, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 31, 2020 after a six-month stay at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. He was born and grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Burton “Burtie” Wallace Teele Jr. left this world in the early morning hours of Monday, July 27, 2020, to join his parents, siblings, and friends for what must be one hell of a reunion.
