Genevieve Mair McLain, wife of the late Ernest R. McLain, of Bremen, passed away on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at the home of her son Christopher McLain in Parsonsfield.

Jeanne Frye Begley, 90, died unexpectedly at her residence at Avita of Brunswick on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021. Right until her last breath Jeanne was her usual cheerful and cooperative self. She will be missed by family and friends alike.

Clark Daniel Doody, 62, was taken home by the Lord on Sept. 25, 2021, peacefully at his home in Damariscotta surrounded by close family.

Etta Clara Morrison, 90, passed peacefully on the morning of Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at her home in New Harbor, surrounded by love.

David Thurlow Flagg, 84, of Rockland, passed away with his loving family by his side on Sept. 16, 2021 in Rockport after a period of declining health.

Geary Wayne Smith, a man beloved by family and friends, died peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Sept. 6, 2021, at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Dr. James Topping Hudson passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021. Jim was born in West Hartford, Conn., on July 21, 1931, to Wheaton Grenville and Jessie Topping Hudson. In 1940, the family moved to Freeport where they opened the Hudson Bay Guest House, a precursor to the many B&B’s now in Freeport.

Reginald Robert Charles (Bob) Howell passed away with his family by his side at Maine Medical Center on Sept. 18, 2021.

Carl J. Wilms, of Waldoboro, died Sept. 17, 2021, at an Augusta hospital as a result of complications from surgery. The son of Hugo J. Wilms and Vivian Johnson Wilms, he was born in Boston on April 13, 1954.

Doris Bredeau, 93, passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2021 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. She was born Nov. 27, 1927, the daughter of Willard and Alice Wilson Sanborn.

Barbara Jeanne Vitallo, 75, of Damariscotta, passed away very unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Sept. 10, 2021.
