The Rev. Kenneth Raymond Bradsell, 77, passed at his home in Boothbay Harbor on Aug. 6, 2025.

George V. Letsch Jr., 81, of Boothbay Harbor, formerly of New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2025 at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor.

Kathleen “Kathi” M. Griffin Wall, 78, of Bristol, passed away on the morning of Aug. 13, 2025 at Breakwater Commons in Rockland. Born on Sept. 27, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa, she was the daughter of C. Vincent Griffin and Marian (Heusinkvelt) Griffin.

James E. Thelander passed away peacefully on Aug. 4, 2025, at age 80, in Fort Gratiot, Mich.

Cynthia Jean (Mayo) Burk, 64, of Dresden, passed away on Aug. 13, 2025 in Augusta, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 2, 1961 in Brunswick, the daughter of James Mayo and Jeannine (Fitch) Mayo.

Marlene L. Luce, 88, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Aug. 13, 2025.

Jane Winne Diefendorf Simonds, of Pemaquid, passed away peacefully Sept. 20, 2024 with family by her side. She was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her cohort and love of her life, Francis Xavier Simonds, her husband of 62 years.

John P. Campbell, age 89, passed away peacefully at home in Rockport, Mass., in the company of his loving partner, Elizabeth Vercoe.

Dana Trafton Hagerthy, 91, passed away on Aug. 6, 2025 in Englewood, Fla. He was born on Oct. 30, 1933 in Ashland, a son of Albert L. and Myrtle “Sally” (Miller) Hagerthy.

Roger Taylor Panek, 86, of Damariscotta, died peacefully at the Sussman House on the morning of Aug. 11, 2025. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, he attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. where he studied architecture. He went on to practice architecture in Manhattan, San Francisco, Toronto, and throughout New England, specializing in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings.

Peter Creighton Armstrong, 68, died unexpectedly on Aug. 10, 2025, in his home in Friendship.

Dr. Susan Grace Haines Nilson, of Newcastle, died at home surrounded by her husband and son, on the evening of July 22, 2025, one day after her 52nd wedding anniversary. She was a devoted and dearly beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and psychiatrist. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard Nilson; her son, Noah Nilson, LCSW; her grandson, Abraham Bleviss-Nilson; as well as by her two brothers, John and Peter Haines, their wives; nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends.
