Gerald “Gerry” Gifford, of Nobleboro, lost his battle with cancer, passing peacefully in his home with his wife by his side on July 24, 2024. Gerry was born on May 13, 1950 in Bath, to parents Kenneth H. Gifford and Evelyn (Hall) Gifford, of Louds Island and Round Pond.

Patricia Brown, of Friendship, died peacefully on July 23, 2024, soon after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Harold “Bud” James Lewis died peacefully at his home with his family, on July 24, 2024. Bud was born on Jan. 4, 1946 in Waterbury, Conn., to parents Harold C. Lewis and Althea Schaff Lewis, of Naugatuck, Conn.

Marrilyn “Lynn” Connell, formerly of Damariscotta, passed away in Bangor on Aug. 24, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024 at The 1812 Farm in Bristol Mills.

Leeman Frederick Stafford passed away peacefully at his home on July 19, 2024. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Mildred Stafford; and his loving wife of 53 years, Martha Stafford. He is survived by his daughter, Tina; and his sons, Tim and Terry Stafford. His grandchildren, Dereck and Alexander; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Jr., Amaya, and Akelia.

Richard Allen Baker, 81, of Waldoboro, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Sussman House in Rockport. He was born in Windsor on Dec. 6, 1942. He was the son of Harold and Althea Baker. He attended and graduated from Erskine Academy in China. He then served in the Army. Later, he became an HVAC technician and the proud owner of Dick’s Burner Service, in which he served the community until just a few months before he passed away.

Theodora “Teddy” Stang (née Meier) passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, age 85, at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, where she had been living for many years. She passed away the day after the one-year anniversary of her daughter Susan’s death.

Lula Marine (Headrick) Christensen, 83, of Damariscotta, passed away at her home on the evening of July 20, 2024. Born in Johnson City, Tenn. on March 29, 1941, she was named after her mother and lived in Tampa, Fla. and Maine most of her life.

Maurice J. Blackwell Sr., 86, of Lisbon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at The Hospice House in Auburn, surrounded by his family.

We lost our beloved Shawn Patrick Hickey on June 17. He died at his home in Jefferson in a tractor accident.

With the passing on June 26, 2024 of William Moore Williamson, known fondly as Bill, the world lost a quietly courageous, generous, and gifted human being.

Anthony John Geroux, 83, of Jefferson, passed away on the morning of July 20, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Born on March 15, 1941, he was the son of Joseph Geroux and Elsie Weaver, of Alna.
