George Roy Hutchings Jr., 60, of Kodiak, Alaska and Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2020 at his home here in Maine with family at his side. George was born in Augusta on May 22, 1960, and grew up in Alna and Nobleboro.

Sandra “Sandy” Theriaque, 62, passed away on June 30, 2020 in the loving arms of her son, Jeremy, and his wife, Missy, with whom she resided, after a courageous battle with cancer.

On July 4, 2020, Adelyn Glidden Hussey Boyce, age 105, passed away peacefully at The Fountains in Kalamazoo, Mich. Her family was with her.

Randall Wayne Simmons, 61, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, on the morning of July 3, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Rockland on April 24, 1959, he was the son of Wayne and Barbara Simmons.

Shirley (Eckler) Pooler, 83, of Port Crane, N.Y., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 30, 2020 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mary Ann (Ornowski) Blycher, 84, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2020 at the Sussman Hospice House in Rockport.

John Day, 83, of Jefferson, breathed his last breath holding the hand of his much-loved wife, Ellie, on June 24, 2020. He was a wonderfully thoughtful and caring man, who, although not a religious one, was devoted to the belief of living his life based on humility, integrity, and kindness. His quiet demeanor was charged with a wicked sense of humor which made him such fun to be around.

Horace Francis Stevens died peacefully at home Sunday, June 28, 2020 at the age of 91.

William Edward Sanborn, 80, of Waldoboro, died June 16, 2020 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
