Jean Ida West, 83, passed away on the evening of May 16, 2025 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born in Bath on Jan. 15, 1942, she was the daughter of Ralph and Helen (Wilson) Gross.

Eleanor L.M.M. Mitchell, originally residing in Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at her assisted living residence, Hodgdon Green in Damariscotta, on May 16, 2025 at the age of 103.

Adelaide M. Weymouth, of West Gardiner, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the age of 93.

Corrone E. Bryant, 90, passed away in Florida on Jan. 28, 2025 after a period of declining health. Born in Williamston, N.C. on May 16, 1934, he was the son of Lester and Susan Bryant.

Phyllis Adelle Bowers Prescott, 95, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Friday, May 9, 2025 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Walter Jon Upham, 87, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at McCrite Senior Living at Briarcliff. Wally was born on March 15, 1938 in Bath, to Eugene and Catherine Upham.

Beverly Hillmann Eckhardt, 96, of Lincoln and Wayland, Mass., died peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Her loving husband, Homer, predeceased her by two years after their recent move to the Residence at Paine Estate in Wayland.

Dara M. (Butler) Carberg, 85, of Venice, Fla., a retired elementary school teacher in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, died April 30, 2025 while under Tidewell Hospice care at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Venice. She had been a resident of Liana, a memory care facility in Venice, since last August.

Frederick Lynn Fagin, known to his friends and family as Fred, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, at 6:02 p.m., with his devoted wife Angela, their son Colin, his brother Lynn, and sister-in-law Debbie at his side. A longtime resident of Whitefield and Somerville, Fred had been under the compassionate care of the VA staff at Togus for several weeks prior to his passing.

John Allan Gilbert Sr., 85, of Waldoboro, passed from this life into heaven on May 7, 2025, at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta with his loving family by his side. John was born April 20, 1940, in Sadsbury, Pa., to parents Marcus W. and Harriet M. (Lovett) Gilbert.

Andrea Kennedy Landry, 72, of Auburn, formerly of Warren, passed away on May 8, 2025, at the Sarah Frye Home. Born on July 20, 1952, in Rockland, she was the daughter of Eleanor Ada (Achorn) Kennedy, who predeceased her.
