Paul DeWitt Colbath Jr., 74, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully May 23, 2025, with his loving wife by his side. He was under the compassionate care of the VA Hospice at Togus Springs, in Augusta. Born in Boston, Mass., he was the son of the late Paul and Pauline (Stanley) Colbath. Paul was known to family and many friends as “Bob.”

It is with great sadness that we share that Noah Dionysus Gottlieb, 55, of Whitefield, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of May 19, 2025.

Carmen Cecile Kramer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 85.

Georgia Mae Brewer, 84, of Newcastle, passed away at home on the afternoon of May 21, 2025 with her loving husband by her side.

A memorial service with military honors for Roland J. McFarland, who passed away on Jan. 23, 2025, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home in Damariscotta. He will be laid to rest following the service in the West Bristol Cemetery in Walpole.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at The Yarmouth Amvets Hall, at 148 North Road in Yarmouth, on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from noon to 4 p.m.

Janet Heeman Marshall passed away Easter morning, April 20, 2025. She was 103 years old.

Brett Westhaver, 59, of Round Pond, passed away on the morning of May 18, 2025 at the Sussman House in Rockport, after a courageous battle with cancer. Brett was born in Damariscotta on Sept. 7, 1965.

Nelson A. “Sonny” Lash, 89, of Friendship, died May 13, 2025 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Sonny was born Nov. 29, 1935 in New Bedford, Mass., to Nelson J. Lash and Marie King Lash. Sonny’s family moved from New Bedford to Friendship when he was a young boy. He attended local schools and graduated from Waldoboro High School.
