Yvette Marie Alexander, “Shrub,” age 53, of Nobleboro, passed away at her home on the afternoon of March 20, 2024. She was born on Jan. 20, 1971, to the late Philip and Jean Quintal.

Jacqueline H. (Chubbuck) Durgan, 86, of Bath, passed away peacefully on March 25 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bath on Oct. 28, 1937, she’s the daughter of Harvey H. and Marion C. Chubbuck. A proud graduate of Morse High School, she married her high school sweetheart, Raymond E. Durgan. Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, bowling, golfing, and dancing with Raymond.

Mark John Hayward, 64, of Jefferson, passed away on March 19, 2024. Mark was born on March 27, 1959 in Heidelberg, Germany, to the late John Astle Hayward and Patricia Elizabeth Hayward (Dionne).

Dorothy Jean Koughan, 80, of Wiscasset, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus.

Esther Anne Whitmore, beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on July 15, 1935, in Topsham, to Chester Staples and Susie Johnson, and most recently resided in Durham.

Irene Gallant, 92, passed away on March 15, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Barbara Jean (Benner) Fossett, 89, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, after a short period of declining health. She was born on Nov. 7, 1934, in Bristol, to Earle H. Benner and Lillian DeVoe Benner.
