Claire Ava Little passed away peacefully at Pinnacle Health and Rehabilitation in South Portland on Jan. 17, 2023 with her cousin Leslie and the prayers of family members by her side. She was born in Damariscotta on Oct. 16, 1938. She was the only child of Minot K. and Mina Warren Little.

Gary Glenn Speers, 77, formerly of Normal, Ill., Newcastle, and recently residing in North Fort Myers, Fla. passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, at Cape Coral Hospital from complications from several medical issues.

Paula Anne Nichols, 70, of New Harbor, died on Sunday evening, Feb. 19, 2023 at her home. She was born Oct. 26, 1952 in Taunton, Mass., a daughter of the late Maurice and Joyce (Belanger) Boucher.

Patricia Louiza Jarrett, 79, beloved wife of Stephen Jarrett Sr., died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023.

Geraldine N Hanley, 97, of Newcastle, passed away on the morning of Feb. 17, 2023 at the LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. She was born March 9, 1925 in Pittston. She is the daughter of the late William Atkinson and Blanche Atkinson Blair; stepdaughter of Arthur Blair.

Dennis W. Genthner, 77, was born Dec. 1, 1945, passed away at Togus Springs Hospice on Friday evening, Feb. 17, 2023. He was born in Bath, a son of the late Malen O. Genthner and Elsie (Moody) Genthner.

Barbara Jean Etzweiler, 95, of Topsham, formerly of Walpole, passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2023. She was born on Aug. 15, 1927 to Neilson Bertholf and Marion (Tiger) Bertholf in Morristown, N.J.

Born Oct. 5, 1941 to Howard and Ruby DeLong of Mass. and brought up by Virginia and Milton Webster, she attended Merrimac Mass. schools.

Robert ‘Bob’ A. Blackman of Edgecomb passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side at the age of 72.

Linda McFarland Sicotte, born in Damariscotta on May 27th, 1954, finished her journey here on earth, after a long battle with cancer and other health problems, on Monday, January 30th, 2023.

Gary S. Dean, 64, of Stoneham, ME passed peacefully at home on February 7, 2023, after a long illness following a lifetime of working in heavy metals and toxic chemicals.

Clara Dow Wentworth, 95, died February 9, 2023, after being lovingly cared for by her son Sky and wife Michelle at their home in Wiscasset.
