Robert Samuel Sinclair, 78, of Jefferson, passed away on Jan. 27, 2024, at home after a relatively brief illness, surrounded and supported throughout the past difficult month by his loving family, amazing friends, and his beloved cat, Tinsel. Bob was born on April 30, 1945 in Alexandria, Va., the son of the late Rosa Deans Sinclair and Louis H. Sinclair.

William Gemmill, 79, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully at Togus Springs Hospice on Jan. 21, 2024. Born on Oct. 2, 1944 in New York City, he was raised by his parents, Huber and Marion Gemmill, in Short Hills, N.J.

Anthony Frank DiGregorio passed away peacefully at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus with his wife at his side. Tony, as he liked to be called, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 27, 1943, to Frances and Anthony DiGregorio.

Our beautiful mom, Betty Lou (Lyons) Harris, passed from this world on Jan. 22, 2024 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. The grief of her loss is matched by the joy of knowing she is finally reunited with our dad, Ron, her husband and the greatest love of her life.

Carol Eller Kirby, of Chamberlain, died peacefully at her home on the coast of Maine, on Jan. 19, 2024. Carol was born on Aug. 13, 1953 in Winston-Salem, N.C., the daughter of the late Gaither E. and Katherine Eller.

Norma Anne O’Grady, age 87, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at the Sussman Hospice House in Rockport.

Edward passed away peacefully with family by his side on Jan. 11, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 3, 1934. After high school, he joined the Air Force and served from 1951-1956.

Nancy C. Morton, 80, of Lowelltown Road in Wiscasset, passed away on Jan. 22, 2024, at her home.

Neiland Nelson Campbell “brother” born at home in the “little house,” to Hazel Reay and Wilson Ford Campbell in Newcastle, on July 25, 1936, passed away quietly and in comfort on Jan. 14 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Walter James Dembkoski, 96, of Jefferson, passed away on the morning of Jan. 12, 2024, at the Togus VA Medical Center, after a period of declining health. Born on June 2, 1927 in Andover, Mass., he was the last of eight children born to Stefan and Walerjia Dembkoski.

Rody was born in Methuen, Mass. to Robert Luke and Emma M. Devaney. She was the oldest daughter of eight children. She attended St. Laurence O’Toole Grammar School and St. Mary’s High School. She was an active member of many activities in school, and a popular friend.

Carole M. Jordan, 58, died peacefully surrounded by family and close friends on Jan. 15 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Carole was born April 14, 1965 in Boston, Mass. to Joseph Peter Malizia and Anita Louise Slusarczyk. Carole attended schools in Nashua, N.H. and graduated from Morse High School, in the class of 1983, in Bath.

Rolf Hans Christian Maersk-Moller passed away peacefully at the Sussman House in Rockport on Jan. 3, 2024, at the age of 91.
