Harold M. Whittier, 90, of Auburn passed away on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023 at Bolster Heights.

Christopher S. Brown, 66, of New Harbor, passed away on the evening of Dec. 7, after a very long illness at the Sandy River Center in Farmington. Born in Ridgewood, N.J. on Oct. 12, 1957, he was the son of Steven and Carolyn Brown.

Travis J. Morton, 46, of Damariscotta, passed away at his home on the morning of Dec. 7, 2023. Born in Damariscotta, on March 6, 1977, he was the son of Peter and Marsha (Day) Morton.

Donald Frank Main, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 29, 2023 in Oklahoma. Don was born in Damariscotta on April 22, 1945 to Harold and A. Lillian (Sidelinger) Main. He and his four siblings were raised by Carl and Lillian Main. He grew up in Wiscasset attending local schools, but moved out of Maine before he turned 20.

Richard Livingston, born Dec. 27, 1944 in Baltimore and living in Bremen, died peacefully in hospice Nov. 30, 2023 after a difficult convalescence from surgery on Nov. 3 for a bleeding brain aneurysm.

Lawrence R. Bennett, 61, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland on Nov. 26, 2023. Lawrence was born on June 3, 1962, to Lawrence W. Bennett and Sharon (Pinkham) Bennett.

Jane Ellen Peacock Kelley passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2023 at the age of 81, with her devoted husband of 57 years by her side. Jane was a loving mother and wife, spending most of her life caring for her children, other family members, the family’s home, and beloved pets.

Darryl Charles Grady, 69, of Whitefield, died peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Gordon A. Frizzell, 76, of Jefferson, passed away on the morning of Dec. 1, 2023 at the Sussman House in Rockport. Born on Jan. 2, 1947 in Boothbay Harbor, he was the son of Robert and Wilma (Leavitt) Frizzell.

Barbara “Babs” Auguste Kreuter, 70, passed away at her home on Hillcrest Road, in Newcastle, on the morning of Dec. 1, 2023 after a brief illness. Born in Chicago, Ill. on May 28, 1953, she was the daughter of John D. and Joanne P. Kreuter.

Margaret E. “Maggie” Hanna, 42, of Searsport, passed away on Oct. 23, 2023.

Janice Ralph Arsenault, 91, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at her home on Nov. 25, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Janice was born on Sept. 15, 1932 to Willis Alonzo Ralph and Gertrude Theresa (Burns) Ralph.

Charles W. Hedrick Jr., a resident of Schooner Estates in Auburn, passed away on Oct. 26, 2023, at Marshwood Center in Lewiston. He was 88.

Stephen Lawrence Pitcher, 76, died Nov. 11, 2023 at his home in Boothbay Harbor. Steve was born Feb. 11, 1947 in Boothbay Harbor to Lawrence H. Pitcher Sr. and Rose Dorr Pitcher. Steve attended Boothbay Harbor schools.
