Sandra Marie Pagnano (St. Pierre) passed away on Dec. 14, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born in Weymouth, Mass., on Aug. 21, 1942 to Louis and K. Frances St. Pierre of Weymouth, Mass. As the mother of five children and “Nana” to 12 grandchildren, Sandra was devoted to always being there for her family. And so her family, in turn, was there for her when she died peacefully in her sleep at home in Union.

Samantha C. Zaccadelli, 35, of Windsor, passed away on Dec. 11, 2023. Samantha was born in Springfield, Ohio on Aug. 2, 1988, to Mark Anthony Zaccadelli and Brook L. Hartshorn.

Eric Kendall Lee, 55, passed away on Dec. 5, 2023, at home in Waldoboro.

Darren “Darry” S. Bryant, 61, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1962, in Augusta. He was the son of Ralph L. Bryant Jr. and Donna E. (Dawson) Bryant.

On Dec. 11, 2023, Sylvia Brann died unexpectedly, in the arms of her husband of 50 years, at their home in Whitefield.

Catinka Knoth, 72, of Rockland, passed away on the morning of Dec. 5 at the Sussman House in Rockport, following a brief illness.

Jerry Curtis, 69, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023 at the Northern Light Primary Care in Waterville.

After several years of declining health, Heather Macdonald Shaughnessy (80, of Damariscotta Mills), passed away at Maine Medical Center on Dec. 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

William N. Pearson, 83, passed away peacefully on the morning of Nov. 12, 2023 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta, with his family by his side.

Ronald J. Betts, 69, of Bristol, passed away on the afternoon of Dec. 4, 2023 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Stamford, Conn. on Dec. 26, 1953, he was one of 10 children to George and Viola Betts.

Denise Pauline Simard would like you to know that her work here is done. A heavenly offer was extended to participate in a new mission, which she has willingly accepted. This new mission will land her in the company of loved ones she has not seen in a long time, where there will undoubtedly be laughter, dancing, Trivial Pursuit, and Turner Classic Movies on a big screen. She left detailed instructions via Post-it notes to her husband and children to celebrate her well-lived life.

Douglas Ronald Cameron, of Vero Beach, Fla., passed away surrounded by family on Nov. 16, 2023, after a brief battle with lung cancer.

A. Knight Coolidge, 78, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2023. Knight was born in Chicago, Ill. on Sept. 30, 1945. His first childhood home was a repurposed Chicago World’s Fair guard house just south of the University of Chicago where his parents, Dr. Thomas B. Coolidge (MD, Ph.D.) and Helen K. Coolidge taught and worked.
