Morse boys soccer team defeated Medomak Valley 3-2 in Waldoboro in the two teams season opener on Sept. 2.

Morse girls soccer team robbed the Panthers den for a 1-0 win on Sept. 2 in the two squads’ season opener. Mattiejayne Shires scored the game winner for the Shipbuilders midway through the second half.
Lincoln Girls Soccer Open with a Win Lincoln 3 - Oceanside 2
Lincoln Academy girls soccer team opened their season on Sept. 2 with a 3-2 win at Oceanside. Marly LeBel, Bronwen Coffin and Ava Lord scored a goal each for the Lady Eagles, and LeBel and Abby Kopp picked up an assist each. Ava Phil scored for the Mariners.
New Ultimate Frisbee Game Starts in Boothbay
A new Ultimate Frisbee game has started in Lincoln County, an addition to the three others in the local region.
Medomak Valley 11 & 12 Softball All-Stars Eliminated at States State Little League Tourament
Medomak Valley Little League 11& 12 softball all-stars lost their first game at States, 13-2 to Acadia in Westbbrook on July 9. Catcher Grace Townsend threw out three base runners. Paige Gerlack hit a RBI double scoring Elyse Court in the fourth inning. Kiki Ames was hit by a pitch in the third and circled the horn for Medomak’s first run. Townsend also had a hit for Medomak.
District 2 Little League All-Star Action
Medomak Valley 9 & 10 softball all-stars defeated Lincoln County to win the District 2 title.
Waldoboro Wins Mid Coast Babe Ruth Championship Waldoboro 12 - Rockland 5
Waldoboro defeated Rockland 12-5 to win the 2022 Mid Coast Babe Ruth championship on July 10 in Rockland. Waldoboro jumped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and never relinquished it. Josh Blake collected the win in four innings of work and Kyle Smith closed out the final three innings. Bryson Mattox took the loss for Rockland.
Medomak Valley 11 & 12 Softball All-Stars Win District 2 Crown Medomak 9 - Lincoln 4
Medomak Valley Little League 11&12 softball all-stars defeated Lincoln Little League 9-4 on July 6 to clench the District 2 championships, and earn a berth in the state tournament. Kendall Wyman collected the win (9K, 4B, 1HP, 3H). Olivia Ball took the loss for Lincoln (8K, 9B, 4H).
Lions Roar to Lincoln Little League Championship Lions 2 - Legion 1
The undefeated Lions wrapped up their season perfectly (12-0) with a 2-1 win over the American Legions to win the Lincoln Little League baseball championships on June 18 in South Bristol.

The Wildcats defeated the Panthers 6-0 on June 16 in Warren to win the Medomak Valley Little League baseball championship.
Warren Hornets Win MVLL Softball Championship Hornets 17 - Diamondbacks 3
The Warren Hornets captured the Medomak Valley Little League softball championship on June 16 on Foster Field in Waldoboro. The Hornets defeated the Diamondbacks 17-3 in five innings. The Diamondback forced a second game for the championship with a win on June 14.
Lincoln Academy Sports Hall of Fame Inducts Four
The Lincoln Academy Alumni Association is pleased to announce that four individuals will be inducted into the LA Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, June 18. A reception will be held in the Lincoln Academy dining commons at 2 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony. The public is welcome to attend.
First National Captures Lincoln LL Softball Crown First National 12 - Colby & Gale 3
First National Bank defeated Colby & Gale 12-3 on June 11 to win the Lincoln Little League softball championship. Olivia Ball collected the win. Aubrie Brewer and Claire Ward hit doubles in the win, and Katherine McDonald, Ellie Flagg (2 RBI), and Ball hit a single each.
