Lincoln Academy still has space available in its summer soccer clinic for young athletes entering grades 3-8 this summer. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon, July 12-16.
LA Summer Basketball Camp
After a year off due to COVID-19, the Lincoln Academy coed summer basketball camp is back on for 2021. There will be two sessions, the first from June 28 through July 2 and the second from July 5-9.
Walpole Man Breaks World Record at Scottish Games
Nicholas MacPhee, of Walpole, broke a world record at the Old Orchard Beach Scottish Highland Games on June 5. MacPhee won all events at the games, including setting a world record in the weight over bar event.

Cape Elizabeth softball defended their home diamond for a 1-0 win over Medomak Valley on Sat., June 12 in a South Class B Regional semi-final game. After six and a half scoreless innings, and with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Caper Esme Song hit a walk off single scoring Clara Parker for the winning run.
Medomak Softball Upsets Morse Medomak 8 - Morse 7
Sixth seed Medomak Valley softball upset third seed Morse in a South Class B quarter-final game on June 10 in Bath. The Lady Panthers rallied in the top of the seventh to win 8-7.

Gray NG softball raided the Eagles nest for a 3-0 win in South Class B Regional playoff action on June 10.
Medomak’s Daigle Wins State Class B 3,200-Meter Race
Medomak Valley junior Connor Daigle was denied the opportunity to run for a cross-country state championship last fall due to a COVID-19 outbreak at the school, but he made up for it in grand fashion on Saturday, June 5 at the state Class B track and field championships in Bath.
York Baseball Stops Panthers in Their Tracks York 13 - Medomak 3
Sixth seed York baseball defeated Medomak Valley 13-3 on June 8 in a South Class B preliminary game in York. The game was delayed due to a thunder storm, and ended after six innings due to a 10 run mercy ruling. Mather collected the win, and Isaac McCollett took the loss.
Wells Baseball Clips the Eagles Wells 4 - Lincoln 0
Third seed Wells defeated 14th seed Lincoln Academy 4-0 in a South Class B Regional preliminary match-up on June 8 at Wells. Brown and Ramsey combined in the shut out win. Nathan True had a solid outing in the loss (6H, 2B, 10K).
LA Girls Lacrosse Pick Up Very First Playoff Win Lincoln 15 - Traip 8
Lincoln Academy girls lacrosse team (3-9) defeated Traip 15-8 in the Eagles nest on Tues., June 8 to pick up the program’s very first tournament win, since the program began in 2003. The Lady Eagles advance to play second seed Maranacook (9-3) in Readfield on Sat., June 12 at 1 .m.
Lady Panther Softball Silence the Hornets Medomak 14 - Leavitt 6
Sixth seed Medomak Valley softball defeated #11 Leavitt 14-6 on the Panther diamond on June 8 in a South Class B Regional preliminary game. With the win, Medomak advances to play Morse on June 10 at 4 p.m. in Bath.
Lady Eagles Send Greely Packing Lincoln 8 - Greely 1
Fourth seed Lincoln Academy softball defeated 13th seed Greely 8-1 on June 8 in the Eagles nest. Grace Houghton struck out 12 in the win.

Wiscasset athlete Josie Harrington tied for the third in the State Class C high jump on June 5 in Brewer. Harrington cleared the bar at 4’10”.
Daigle Wins Gold in State Class B 3200 Bunker, Emerson and Vannoy place
Connor Daigle broke his own Medomak Valley’s 3200m record in 9:42.61 on his way to a State Class B championship on June 5 in Bath.
