Fiddles and Feathers at Pumpkin Vine Family Farm July 6

Satisfy a love of art and nature in a special outdoor musical event at Pumpkin Vine Family Farm on Saturday evening, July 6. A truly unique celebration of sound, Fiddles and Feathers combines live folk music, beginning at 6:15 p.m., with the chance to hear and learn about the eastern whippoorwill, whose magical call, once iconic of summer evenings, is now in decline.

Summer Concert Series Returns To Round Pond

Music has become a large part of the Little Brown Church, on Route 32 in Round Pond, with Wednesday night concerts being held throughout the summer months. After a hiatus last year, the tradition will return on Wednesday, July 3 with Curlew, a traditional Irish band.

Travis Q. Clifford, 48, of Warren, passed away on the morning of June 27, 2024, at the Sussman House in Rockport after a brief, but courageous, battle with cancer.

Cheryl Ann (Wright) Hillman

At 1:14 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024 my earthly angel became my heavenly angel when her father Kenwood Wright took his baby girl to her heavenly home. Cheryl was the daughter of the departed Kenwood and Virginia (Bailey) Wright, of Whitefield. She entered this worldly life on May 24, 1958, and spent most of her life in this area. The last 28 years spent in our log cabin home down in the pasture behind her parent’s home.

Richard Allan Hoffses Service Announcement

Richard Allan Hoffses, 81, passed away on Jan. 3, 2024, of congestive heart failure at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born on Aug. 26, 1942 in York, to Ralph and Gertrude Hoffses who both predeceased him.

Robert A. Poland Sr., age 83, died June 28, 2024, at the home of his longtime partner, Virginia Overlock, in Warren.

Patricia W. Foster July 23, 1927 - June 27, 2024

Patricia W. Foster passed away on the afternoon of June 27, 2024 at the Breakwater Commons in Rockland. She had been a resident of Riverside at Chase Point in Damariscotta for the past seven years.
