Patricia Fulton Steucek, 82, of Alna, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025. She was born in New Haven, Conn. on May 20, 1943, the daughter of Charles A. Fulton and Ethel M. (Currie), and grew up in Hamden, Conn. in the house that her grandfather built.

Ethel Winslow Benner, 100, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side in Waldoboro on Oct. 27, 2025. Ethel was born Aug. 3, 1925 in Nobleboro to Winfield Winslow and Grace Cunningham Winslow. Ethel was a hardworking woman. She began working on her family farm then worked for the Waldoboro Button Factory for several years and later as an assistant cook at Fieldcrest Manor Nursing Home.
Coastal Rivers Opens ADA Accessible Trail At Castner Brook Community Forest
Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust is excited to announce the opening of a brand new 950-foot Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible trail at Castner Brook Community Forest in Damariscotta. Constructed this fall, the trail begins at Piper Mill Road and offers an inviting shaded pathway through the woods to Castner Brook.

Over her adolescent years, she eventually moved to Machias, where she would attend the University of Maine and meet her husband, Mike Sirois.
