Frank E. Waltz Sr., 88, of Jefferson, passed away on the morning of Feb. 10, 2025. Frank was born on Sept. 29, 1936, the son of Sewall Waltz and Irene (Robinson) Waltz. Frank grew up in Damariscotta Mills with his 10 siblings.

Randy A. Prock May 30, 1955 - Feb. 3, 2025
Randy Prock passed away early Feb. 3, 2025 with his wife, Cindy; sister, Wendy; and son, Danny by his bedside at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where he had spent the final 13 days of his life. Since his Oct. 8, 2024 brain cancer diagnosis (glioblastoma), Randy was hospitalized four times, endured four surgeries, received 30 radiation treatments, and 46 days of chemotherapy. Clearly, Randy loved life because he endured it without complaints or negativity; instead he persevered with infinite strength and love for his wife and family. Faith, family, and friends inspired his courageous resolve.

Lynda Susan Bernacki was a woman of immense depth – an artist, a scholar, a healer, and a fierce advocate for those in need. Born in Manhattan, N.Y. in 1949 to Frank and Walda Bernacki, she embraced life with a boundless curiosity and a generous heart. Her journey took her across the country and around the world, leaving behind a legacy of artistry, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others.
Charles H. Frey Sr. Feb. 12, 1940 - Feb. 7, 2025
Charles H. Frey Sr., 84, of Newcastle, passed away on Feb. 7, 2025. He was born on Feb. 12, 1940, to parents Charles and Nellie Frey, of South Bristol. He grew up in South Bristol, graduating from South Bristol School in 1958. During high school, he played basketball, baseball, and led his senior class as valedictorian and soon enlisted (even though he couldn’t swim or float) in the U.S. Navy. Following 22 years in the Navy, he retired in 1981 attaining the rank of master chief petty officer. He immediately paired with Logistic Services International for 20-plus years. Charlie was a dedicated Mason in lodge No. 267 of Orange Park, Fla. for 31 years. He was a past worshipful master and longtime secretary at the lodge.
