From Dec. 3-5, Wiscasset Holiday Marketfest will make shopping for holiday gifts stress-free and fun. Unique shops, artist-owned galleries, and tasty places to eat in a beautiful riverfront village are only part of the weekend appeal. Family-friendly activities, inspiring seasonal decorations, and lots of holiday cheer promise a memorable experience.

With the area’s first snowfall, cows, sheep, and goats have been taken off pasture and brought into barns and a noticeable layer of ice is forming atop small farm ponds.

Free Community Christmas Supper

All are invited to attend a free community Christmas supper from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 25 at the American Legion Hall, 25 Industrial Park Drive in Boothbay. The snow date is Sunday, Dec. 26.

The Central Lincoln County YMCA is once again collaborating with community businesses, organizations, and individuals to organize the Tree of Giving, which is designed to help families fulfill needs of their children this Christmas.

‘Eurydice’ Hits the Big Screen at Lincoln Theater

The myth of Orpheus and Eurydice has captivated imaginations for millennia, and now you can experience it through The Met Live in HD’s premiere broadcast of “Eurydice,” coming to the big screen at Damariscotta’s Lincoln Theater, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.
