Salt Pond Studio, in Friendship, features an exhibition of paintings and sgraffito creations on porcelain by Friendship artist Pam Cabañas. The exhibition features large works on panel inspired by life and landscape in the artist’s hometown.

The South Bristol Rutherford Library is excited to have Lee Emmons present his nature photography at the library on Friday, Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m. Emmons is a photographer, nature writer, and a resident of Newcastle. He regularly shares his work with libraries and assisted living facilities in Lincoln County.

Books for the Barnyard at Morris Farm Submitted article

Used books of all kinds will be available at Morris Farm on Saturday, Nov. 5, at their first Books for the Barnyard sale. Stop by the farm between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to browse a large selection of used books featuring authors such as Tom Clancy, Stephen King, and John Grisham. Paperbacks, hardcovers, and children’s books will be available.

Richard Curtis Masters, 81, of Round Pond, passed away on Oct. 23, 2022 at Sussman House in Rockport. The son of George S. Masters and Edith Mae Masters, he was born on May 21, 1941, at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Caleb Gilmore Packard March 27, 1993 - Oct. 23, 2022

Caleb Gilmore Packard, great father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, died peacefully on Oct. 23, 2022. He was born on March 27, 1993 to Nathan and Valarie, and he was an extra special identical twin brother to Cole.

Henry, a Dog’s Life in Maine

Before I start, I have to say that as soon as mom hit the send button on last month’s column Brody got into a pineapple upside down cake that mom had made. She had it pushed back on the counter, but I guess not far back enough because Brody, aka The Brodster, aka Counter Surfer Extraordinaire, was able to scarf down at least the first half of the top of the upside-down cake, which in itself sounds odd, but I don’t bake, so I can’t really say. It’s a digit thing.
