LA Robotics Competes at VEX World Championships Submitted article
Twelve members of the Lincoln Academy Robotics team traveled to the VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas, Texas last week. At the tournament, they competed with their state runner-up robot, 8030A, in the 2021-22 VEX Robotics Competition challenge, which involved building and programming a robot to place rings on goals and balance robots, rings, and goals on a platform.

Charles Leslie Frederick, originally of Arlington, Mass., died peacefully at his home in Topsham on April 16, 2022 with family at his side. He was 90 years old. His restful passing served as a quiet reflection of the deep and thoughtfully reserved nature with which he lived his life.

Marilyn P. Keyes, 96, of East Boothbay, fell asleep in death peacefully at home on May 1, 2022 after a long and rewarding life. She is survived by her three children: Jeffrey A. Keyes and his wife, Karen, of Boothbay Harbor, Pamela Seneca and her husband, Peter, of East Boothbay, and Priscilla Eich and her husband, Daniel, of Charlotte, N.C. She was also blessed with five grandchildren: Scott, Missy, Joey, Peter, and Danny, and eight great-grandchildren.
