Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Camden Hills 65-61 in the Windjammers harbor on Jan. 9. After a slow start, that saw Camden lead 11-5 at the quarter break, the Panthers out scored Camden 22-6 in the second period to take the lead for good.

Yarmouth girls basketball team raided the Eagles nest for a 64-49 win over Lincoln Academy on Jan. 7. The Clippers jumped out to a 22-10 first quarter lead, and led 39-20 at the half and 53-32 at the end of three.
Saturday Basketball Games Medomak 56 - Mt.Blue 47
Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Mt.Blue 56-47 in the battle of the big cats in Waldoboro on Jan. 4. The Panthers took the lead for good midway through the first period, but the Cougars hung around, pulling within four with 1:49 to play. Patrick McKenney sank eight of 10 foul shots in the final 1:21 to pace Medomak to victory.
Purple Panthers Ground Lady Eagles Waterville 53 - Lincoln 35
Waterville girls basketball team beat Lincoln Academy 53-35 in the Eagles nest on Jan. 2. The Purple Panthers jumped out to a 19-10 first quarter lead and held for the duration of the game. Waterville was led by Sadie Garling with 14, and Kali Thompson 13. Lincoln was led by Maisy O’Brien with 8 points and Payson Kaler 7, Maddy York 7 and Olivia Stiles 7.
Cony Rams Home Win Over Panthers Cony 91 - Medomak 78
Cony boys basketball team robbed the Panther den for a 91-78 win on Jan. 2. The loss was the first of the season for Medomak Valley (7-1). Both teams left it all on the court, as action raced end line to end line at a breakneck speed. The Rams jumped out to a 32-18 first quarter lead and led 49-38 at the half. Medomak clawed their way back in the third quarter to tie the game 64-64 at the end of three.

Monday Night Scores Medomak boys improve to 6-0
Medomak Valley boys basketball team improved to 6-0 with a 62-44 win on the road at Oceanside. The Panthers led 19-10, 37-27 and 50-30 at the quarter breaks. Medomak was led by Trevor Brown with 19, Parker Morrison 12 and Patrick McKenney 10. Oceanside was led by Gavyn Tower with 10.

Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Lawrence 49-34 in the Panthers den on Dec. 20 in a defensive battle. Parker Morrison and Jake Bickmore held Lawrence’s two top players Dylan Hachey and Dylan Coombs to a combined seven points. The Panthers were led by Morrison with 16, Trevor Brown 13 and Patrick McKenney 9. Lawrence was led by Blaisdell with 13.
