The Rubber Ducky Race will be revived by the Old Bristol Historical Society, which will hold the popular fund-raising event on Sunday, July 25, at noon on the Pemaquid River across Route 130 from the Society’s Pemaquid Falls campus.
Tools Sought for Benefit Sale at the Carpenter’s Boat Shop
The Carpenter’s Boat Shop in Pemaquid is looking for woodworking tools, power tools, or hand tools that are no longer in use. The boat shop is holding a massive tool sale on Saturday, Aug. 28 to benefit its apprenticeship program. Donated tools need to be in good working condition. Tools in need of repair cannot be accepted.

Damariscotta
The Damariscotta Fireworks display will begin immediately after dusk in the municipal parking lot. There will be no daytime festivities this year. In the event of bad weather, the display will be postponed until Monday, July 5.

Maggie Weiss, of Bristol, submitted the winning t-shirt design for this year’s Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta. The Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta is held every October during the holiday weekend. This year’s festival will be October 8-11.

Bremen Pie Sale to Benefit Scholarship Fund
On July 3, The Patriotic Club of Bremen will hold a pie sale to benefit its scholarship fund. The Patriotic Club gives a $500 scholarship to every high school student from Bremen who graduates and goes on to further education.
