Ronald Michael Bowers passed away peacefully in March of 2023 following a valiant battle with cancer. He was 78 years old.

Dana A. Rolerson, 69, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 1, 2023. Dana was born on Aug. 20, 1953 to Ann Belcher and James R. Rolerson Jr. in Washington.

Victoria Munsey, 74, of Torre Pellice, Italy, and South Bristol, passed on from her full, fascinating life journey Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.

Steven K. Lutes Sr., 58, of Livermore and formerly of Wiscasset, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Penelope “Penny” Doan, 81, of New Harbor, died unexpectedly on the afternoon of Feb. 26, 2023. She was born in Laconia, N.H., to Ernestine Elizabeth Crone and Daniel Doan. Penny graduated from Laconia High School, attended Lake Erie College, and graduated from Vermont College with a degree in landscape design. She lived in Central and Midcoast Maine.

William Ralph Fowler died Feb. 28, 2023. He was born May 9, 1945 to Frank and Hazel Fowler in Bowdoinham, being the youngest of 15 children. He was predeceased by his son, John William Fowler; four brothers; eight sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Marja Tuulikki Emmet, 77, of Bremen, died on March 4, 2023 after a mercifully short battle with ovarian cancer. Born in Tampere, Finland to Arvo and Karin Pukkila, Tuuti, as she was known to her legion of friends throughout the world, left life on earth with her accustomed grace and dignity.

Shirley (Ayotte) Raymond, 87, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on Feb. 25, 2023 at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus. Born to Theodore and Laura Ayotte, of Winslow, she was the youngest of seven daughters.

Kathryn “Kathy” Edythe Gray, of Edgecomb, passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 at Mid Coast Hospital.

Jean Meredith (Bordo) Lawrence, 83, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023. A direct Mayflower descendant of Richard Warren, Jean was born on March 28, 1939, to parents Frank N. and Harriet O. (Barker) Bordo.

Margaret Bartlett, 88, of Damariscotta, died on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 28, at her home due to complications from lung cancer. She was born on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 1935, in Gardiner. Margaret was the daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Evelyn (Cobb) O’Connor, and the wife of the late Bruce Bartlett.

Galen Forest Hisler Jr., 30, passed away on Feb. 22, 2023. He was born on Sept. 29, 1992, a son of Tricia (Patterson) and Galen Hisler Sr.
