After a brief illness, Richard “Dick” Ronan died at dawn on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, in the arms of his wife Cathy.

There will be a celebration of life for George Lewis Wiley, formerly of Warren, who passed away June 16, 2022 in Piedmont, S.C. The family will welcome all who wish to attend on from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Pioneer Grange Hall, 110 Payson Road, East Union.

Timothy Simmons, 58, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Waldoboro on Aug. 30, 2022. Tim was born Nov. 15, 1963, to Ralph and Phyllis (Reed) Simmons.

Beatrice Helen Hoffses Simmons slipped peacefully away from this life and joined her Lord and Savior Aug. 25, 2022, at Sussman House is Rockport after a period of declining health. She was 82 years old.

Daniel L. Gay, 90, passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2022 at Hill House in Bath after a brief illness.

Jean Marie (Casper) Parlin, 59, of Jefferson, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022 at her home.

Marrilyn “Lynn” Connell, nee Loeser, 96, formerly of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on Aug. 24, 2022, after a brief illness.

Mary Ann Brewer, 63, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly at her home after a hard-fought battle with cancer on Aug. 24, 2022. Mary was the daughter of Neil Carroll Colburn and Jane Pendleton. She grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools, graduating from Medomak Valley High School.

Edna Boynton Creamer, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully on Aug. 18, 2022, in Damariscotta. She was born in 1925 to Frank and Margaret Mulcahy Boynton in Cranston, R.I. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Douglas M. Richards Sr., 78, passed away peacefully at the Saint Andrews Village Gregory Wing on Aug. 22, 2022. Doug was the youngest son of Clarance and Myra (Genthner) Richards. He grew up in Friendship and attended local schools. At one time, Doug’s entire family all lived on Bradford Point in Friendship.

Janice Mellyn passed away peacefully Aug. 22, 2022 in Damariscotta. A vibrant and active member of the Lincoln County community, Janice was an artist, a devoutly spiritual woman, and a fierce advocate for the less fortunate and those in need. She was 87 years old.

John McCaslin Peacock died Aug. 17, 2022. John was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Oct. 5, 1925, the son of David W. K. and Beryl McCaslin Peacock.
