William D. Heady, 80 of Newcastle, passed away at his home on the evening of Jan. 17, 2022. Born in Boston, Mass. on May 23, 1941, he was the son of Winthrop and Marie (Raino) Heady.

Corey Ancil Prock, 55, Waldoboro passed away Jan. 17, 2022. He was born Feb. 7, 1966, to parents Ancil and Shirley Prock of Jefferson.

Donald Strong Chatfield Jr., of Nobleboro, passed away on Jan. 17, 2022, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, following extensive surgery for ulcer and blood clots at 69.

Suzanne “Suzie” Jones, 72, of Boothbay Harbor, and formerly of Ballston Lake, N.Y., passed away at home on Jan. 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Earl Farnsworth passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by family, friends and beloved pets on Jan. 14, 2022.

On the evening of Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, Susan S. Sewall, loving wife, mother of three and grandmother of three, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 68.

John Philip Hingston, 43, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 5, 2022, at his home in Newcastle. Born on Dec. 14, 1978 in Beverly, Mass., he was the son of Samuel and Kim Hingston.

Richard Phillip Giles, 65, of Boothbay, died unexpectedly on Jan. 3, 2022. He was the son of Carlton and Jeanette Giles, of Boothbay. He was born Feb. 11, 1956.

Charles W. Acker died at home on Jan. 7, 2022 after a period of declining health. Chuck was a renaissance man who possessed myriad and diverse talents; he was a farmer and builder, a psychologist and poet, a scholar and teacher.

John “Jack” Tedrow Jr., 74, of New Harbor, passed away on the morning of Jan. 6, 2022. Born on July 10, 1947, in Coudersport, Pa., he was the son of Mary Jane and John Tedrow Sr.
