Joel Frank Bowie, 82, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 surrounded by the loving care of family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Warren Liburt, of Jefferson, born March 8, 1930 in Detroit, Mich., was raised in Huntington, N.Y., the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Liburt. He died in his sleep March 26, 2025.

Margaret Carol Merriam Ellsworth passed away March 29, 2025 at the Breakwater Commons Senior Living Facility in Rockland. Margaret was born June 23, 1934 at 15 Vining St. in Auburn. She graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn and Farmington State Teachers College.

Thomas “Tom” C Boudin, 71, of Edgecomb, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, at Mass General Hospital in Boston following a long illness. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he leaves a big empty space in our hearts. Tom was an inspiration to all of us, in the way he lived his life with courage, strength, and determination, cherishing his family and all the activities he loved to do. He loved life.

Richard Beal, age 86, of Whitefield, died at home after a long illness, surrounded by his wife and three dogs. Born in Bath on Dec. 16, 1938, he was the son of Claud and Violet Beal.

Anthony “Tony” F. Campagna, age 79, passed away on March 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bristol, R.I., on Aug. 25, 1945, to the late Frank J. Campagna and Louise I. Campagna.

Bertha Cooney Gardner, age 70, of Westport Island, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025 surrounded by those she loved.

Cathy M. (Wildes) Davis, 74, of Washington, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 28, 2025. Cathy was born Feb. 11, 1951 in Rockland to Laurence Wildes and Ethel (Smith) Wildes. Cathy attended schools in Rockland and then started her work career in the Midcoast.

Richard Day Levensaler Sr., 89, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at his home on March 30, 2025 with loving family by his side. He was born on Oct. 7, 1935 in Suffield, Conn., to Bryant and Dorothy (Davis) Levensaler.

Daniel P. Cyr, 73, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones on March 24, born in Manchester, N.H. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Danny will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Shirley Irene Bartlett, 73, passed away on the morning of March 28, 2025, at Central Maine Medical Center, with her daughter by her side, following a sudden illness. The earth marked her passing not with darkness, but with a sunrise.

Robert B. Emerson “Bob,” “Bobby,” “Bump,” “Papa,” 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at his home.

Chester H. Killam, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025 after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 4, 1931 in Salem, Mass., the son of Dwight L. Killam and Dorothy (Perley) Killam.
