Medomak Valley boys and girls basketball games, scheduled for Tues., Dec. 17 at Gardiner have been postponed due to the snow storm. Make-up TBA.

Lincoln Academy announced that all sports activities are off for Dec. 17 to the snow storm.

Medomak Valley boys basketball team defeated Morse 91-49 in Bath on Dec. 13. The Panthers were led by Trevor Brown with 22, Blake Morrison 19, Jacob Craig 14 and Gabe Allaire 12. Morse was led by Aucion 14 and Morrison 10.

Maranacook boys basketball defeated Lincoln Academy 105-54 in the Black Bears den on Dec. 13.

The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 15-2 first quarter lead, and extended it to 26-7 at the half and 39-15 at the end of three in their 54-29 win at Camden Hills on Dec. 11.

Freeport girls basketball team raided the Eagles nest for a 64-34 win on Dec. 11. Freeport jumped out to a 19-4 first quarter lead and never relinquished it. Freeport was led by Caroline Smith with 15, Rachel Wall 11 and Mason Baker-Schlendering 10. Lincoln was led by Grace Houghton with 12.

Lincoln Academy girls basketball team jumped out to a 21-7 first quarter lead then rolled to a 59-35 win in their Class B KVAC opener on the road at Belfast on Dec. 6.

Medomak Valley boys basketball team opened their Class A KVAC season with a 61-31 win in the Eagles nest at Erskine Academy on Dec. 6.

The Lions scored 18 points in the final period, while holding LA to four, to win 60-33 in the Eagles nest in a KVAC Class B boys basketball match-up on Dec. 6.

The third annual Icy Elf 5K will be held on Sun., Dec 22 at 3 p.m. Pre-registration is $20, and day of race is $25.
