York defeated Lincoln Academy 5-1 in a South Class B preliminary boys soccer game in York on Oct.26. York jumped out to a 2-0 lead on two goals from Quenton Convery, including one less than a minute into the contest. Eagle keeper Tiger Cumming was injured on the play and missed half of the first half.
Gulden South B Cross-Country Runner-up Eagles place third, qualify for States
Lincoln Academy boys cross country team placed four runners in the top 23 to place third at the South Class B Regionals, held Oct. 26 at Twin Brook Recreation in Cumberland. Senior Jarrett Gulden was South B Regional runner up in a three man foot race to the finish line. Jojo Martin placed seventh, Cameron Nelson 21st and Kaleb Brackley-Prouty 23rd.
Medomak Girls North B Runners-up Regional B cross country at Belfast
Medomak Valley girls cross country team placed four runners in the top 20 to finish second in the North Class B Regional championships, held on Oct. 26 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. Mackenzie Emerson placed 11th, Olivia Parent 12th, Serena Blasius 16th and Emily Mahoney 19th. Laci Peavey rounded out the scoring five in 56th place. The Lady Panthers qualified for States.

Coach Campbell Named KVAC Coach of Year Class B boys soccer
Medomak Valley coach Brian Campbell was named KVAC Class B Boys Soccer Coach of the Year. The Panthers went undefeated at 12-0-2 to earn their first KVAC championship.
Coach Martin Named KVAC Coach of Year Boys cross country
Lincoln Academy coach Garrett Martin was named KVAC Class B Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year, after the Eagles won the KVAC title on October 19.
Gould Named KVAC XC Coach of the Year Girls cross country
Medomak Valley girl’s cross country coach George Gould was named the KVAC Girl’s Class B Cross-Country Coach of the Year, after his team won the KVAC Class B Championship on October 19.
Medomak Valley Boys Soccer Win KVAC Class B Title
Medomak Valley boys soccer team captured their first KVAC Class B championship. There were a lot of first for Medomak this season. The Panthers went undefeated for the very first time this season with a 12-0-2 record and are seeded second in South Class B, in their first year in the Southern Division.

The undefeated Medomak Valley boys soccer team wrapped up their KVAC season with a 3-2 win at Morse on Oct. 22.
Lincoln Girls Sink Mariners Lincoln 7 - Oceanside 0
Lincoln Academy girls soccer team defeated Oceanside 7-0 to end their KVAC season with a 9-3-2 record. Tatum Hancock netted six goals in the win and Payson Kaler scored her first career goal. Ellie Mathews had three assists and Grace Houghton two.
Oceanside Grounds Eagles in OT Oceanside 3 - Lincoln 2
Oceanside boys soccer team robbed the Eagles nest for a 3-2 overtime win on Oct. 22. Kolya Philbrook gave the Mariners the lead 10 minutes into the game. Lincoln looked to tie with ten minutes to play in the half, but the goal was called back due to offsides. Jack Duncan scored the neutralizer with 47 seconds remaining in the half when he drilled a shot to the upper left corner.
Boothbay- Wiscasset Boys Win MVC Cross Country Title Will Perkins individual champion
Boothbay-Wiscasset boys won the MVC cross country championship on Oct. 19 at UMA. Will Perkins was the overall winner. The Seahawks packed five scoring runners in the top 16, including 7. Nathan Chatterton, 12. Graham Harris, 14. Ryan Russell, and 16. Lucas Hardwick.
Medomak Valley Girls Win KVAC Class B Championship Lady Panthers place three runners in top six
Medomak Valley girls cross country team won the KVAC Class B championship on Oct. 19 at Cony High School in Augusta. The Lady Panthers placed three runners in the top six and five scoring runners in the top 30.
