Pemaquid Art Gallery’s Art for Outreach Mission

Every year, area residents receive benefits from the sale of artwork by the Pemaquid Group of Artists. A long-standing mission of this group is to foster an appreciation of art in the Midcoast area and to support art education. Funding for this mission comes from commissions on sales, membership fees, donated artworks and donations from visitors.

9/11 Attacks Spurred Lincoln County to Action

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 416 calls for service for the period of Aug. 24 to Sept. 7. Year-to-date, LCSO has responded to 8,160 calls for service.

Blanche Antoinette Plumstead ‘Bee’ King

at

Blanche Antoinette Plumstead “Bee” King, 97, of King Phillips Trail in East Boothbay, died Sept. 4, 2021, at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor. She was born in Portland on Feb. 9, 1924, the daughter of Charles H. Plumstead and Blanche E. Child Plumstead.

Paul T. Farrin

Paul T. Farrin passed away on the morning of his 85th birthday, at his home in South Bristol surrounded by his loving family.

Janet Simmons Hatch

Janet Simmons Hatch passed away on Aug. 28, 2021, surrounded by her family. While the last year was difficult, Janet battled her health challenges with bravery and grace. She was a devoted mother and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
