Kirsty was born in London, U.K., in 1937 of an American mother and Scottish father. She went on to lead an interesting and fun-filled life, starting out in the British West Indies where her surgeon father worked at a hospital in Trinidad, then Barbados, and the British Virgin Islands.

Mary Lou (Soule) Peaslee, born Nov. 16, 1928, in Damariscotta, was the daughter of Catherine M. (Caton) Soule and Francis S. Soule Sr., of Wiscasset. She passed away on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at the age of 93 years, after several months at St. Andrews Retirement Facility in Boothbay Harbor.

Marion Rose Carter (Matanza), of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully on Jan. 24, 2022. She was living at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Rockland while on hospice care through the Sussman House.

Judith Hall Cheney, 74, of Pittsfield, N.H., died Feb. 10 at Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, N.H. surrounded by her family. She was born on March 3, 1947 in Damariscotta, the daughter of James and Thelma Hall, of Damariscotta.

Sally Currier Johns, 80, passed away peacefully after a long life spent traveling the world and making good friends.

Rebecca “Becky” Jones Little, 74, of Waldoboro, went home to heaven on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022.

James W. Stetson, 75, died Feb. 14, 2022, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Robert A. “Bob” Denbow, 84, of Waldoboro, passed away Feb. 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Mrs. Lulu Barry Gibson Webster passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Roanoke, Va., on Feb. 14, 2022.

Albert Lowell Greenleaf, 78, of Boothbay Harbor, died on Feb. 8, 2022 at the Sussman House in Rockport.
