Micheal A. Leighton, 52, passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2022, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta with his wife, Heidi, by his side. He was born May 23, 1969, in Boothbay Harbor to Peter Leighton and Juanita Brewer Kristoff. Micheal grew up in Boothbay and graduated from Boothbay Region High School in the Class of 1987.

Surrounded by his loving wife of 72 years, and his three children, Wallace Prock died at home on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. How fitting that he was with them as he serenely left this world, a life well-lived and loved, centered around home and family. Special thanks to Wendy Jackson of hospice for making this peaceful transition possible.

Chad L. Legere, 38, of Freeport, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 29, 2021. He leaves behind family and friends who will miss him greatly, and love and remember him always.

Karen Ann McCubbin, 69, of Bristol, passed away on Dec. 31, 2021. Karen was born in Lawrence, Mass., on May 15, 1952, to Charles R. McCubbin and Genevieve A. (Flynn) McCubbin.

Barbara “Bobbie” B. Nickerson, age 94, passed away peacefully on Jan. 4, 2022 in Damariscotta. Born on Feb. 9, 1927, she was the daughter of John C. and Ada D. Blockley.

Lois Graffam, of Waldoboro, quietly passed away on Dec. 29, 2021. She was 96 and had recently celebrated Christmas with her family.

Cynthia L. Stillings, 58, of Waterville and Jefferson, passed away on Jan. 1, 2022, in Jefferson, after a four-year battle with metastatic HER2+ breast cancer.

Kenneth Crittenden Vinal, 65, husband of Abbey Vinal for 38 years, passed away in his home on Dec. 30, 2021 in Bremen, surrounded by family.

Gertrude T. Rice, 97, of Damariscotta, passed away on Dec. 31, 2021, at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born in South Bristol on Nov. 8, 1924, she was the daughter of Jennie V. (Plummer) and Harvey F. Gamage.

Margaret L. Hodgdon, 89, of Birch Point Road, Wiscasset, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Paula T. Stillings, 55, of Damariscotta, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021. She is survived by her children, Olivia, Audrey, and Vincent Harper.
