Loren M. Albee, age 52, died on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021 at Hospice House of Spokane after a long battle with lung cancer. Loren was born to Everett and Patricia Albee in Damariscotta in 1968. He shared two daughters, Emily and Abagail, with former wife Jamie Albee.

On Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, Donald C. Vigue Jr., 71, of Brunswick, passed away of cancer at Mid Coast Hospital. He was born on April 8, 1949 at Mercy Hospital in Portland to Donald C. Vigue Sr. and Shirley E. (Kempton) Vigue.

Virginia S. Berry, 90, passed away on Jan. 10, 2021 at Cove’s Edge Long Term Care Facility in Damariscotta after a long battle with dementia.

Parker Lash, 22, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly at home on Jan. 16, 2021.

Melissa Mae Thayer, 39, passed away in Brooksville, Fla. on Jan. 4, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born on July 22, 1981 in Damariscotta, the daughter of Cynthia Hagar and Gregory Thayer Sr.

Andrew Christian Twaddle, 82, died of complications from the COVID-19 virus on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo. He was born in Hartford, Conn. on April 21, 1938, the son of Ruth (Bridenbaugh) Christian and Paul Holmes Twaddle. He was a longtime resident of Columbia, Mo. and East Boothbay.

June Frances (Waltz) Genthner passed away on Jan. 14, 2021 at the Brewer Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a brief illness. She was 94.

Judith Alice (Benner) Seiders, of Whitefield, passed away at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor on Jan. 19, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Jan. 10, 2021.

Charles Elliott Giles passed away suddenly at his home in Chapala, Mexico on Jan. 10, 2021. He was born on June 3, 1939 in Damariscotta to Charles Metcalf Giles and Dorothy Elliott Giles.

Alvin Franklin Hill, 82, of Damariscotta, passed away at his home on the morning of Jan. 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bath on Aug. 30, 1938, he was the son of William and Leona (McKinney) Hill.

Louise Watson Williamson, 87, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully Jan. 13, 2021, at home comforted by her loving family.

Joanne Antionette Severance passed away peacefully on Jan. 12, 2021, with her family by her side.

Charles G. Michaud II, 58, of Searsport, passed away on Jan. 5, 2021 in Belfast. After years of health issues and surrounded by the three women who loved him most in this world, Charliy moved on to a better place.
