Sharon (Cunningham) Proctor, of Wiscasset, died on Dec. 19, 2019 at the age of 79, from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Edward “Buddy” Poland, husband to his late wife Gwendolyn, and father to his four sons, Buddy Jr., Frank, Michael, and Dana, passed away on the morning of Dec. 21 at the place he wanted to be, his home, after a long illness.

Miriam LeMay Blackmon, of Waldoboro, passed away on Monday morning, Dec. 16 at the age of 97, after a long, fruitful, and interesting life.

Ralph Alan Gallagher “Big Ralph”, 65, of Windham, passed away on Dec. 15, 2019 surrounded with love, family and friends.

Lee Hollington Murch, of Whitefield, died at daybreak on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Togus VA Medical Center in Chelsea. He was 84 years old and died of natural causes.

June E. (French) Caton, 84, of Wiscasset, passed away on Nov. 17, 2019 at her home.

Dana Charles Brown, 59, formerly of Waldoboro, passed away on Dec. 7, 2019 in West Buxton, where he had recently moved.

Donald Lambert Folkers, 82, pastor of The Ridge Church in Martinsville and co-pastor of the Westport Island Baptist Church, passed away Nov. 26, 2019 at Maine Medical Center Comfort Care, of heart complications and stroke. 

Barbara Elizabeth (Zybas) Powell, 68, of Damariscotta, entered into everlasting life on the afternoon of Dec. 7, 2019 at Cove’s Edge following a complicated illness.

Roy Edwin Norris Jr. passed away peacefully on the evening of Dec. 3, 2019 while under the loving attention of the Cove’s Edge caregivers. He was 84.

Barbara Elizabeth (Zybas) Powell, 68, of Damariscotta, entered into everlasting life on the afternoon of Dec. 7, 2019 at Cove’s Edge following a complicated illness.

Mary-Ruth Elizabeth Birkland Nelson, age 88, passed away at home early on the morning of Dec. 4, 2019 as the sun rose over Long Cove on Westport Island. Ruth was born on Aug. 23, 1931 in New York City, the only child of Norwegian parents, Sverre and Olena Ovrebo Birkeland.

Robert A. Johnson Sr., (“Ribet”), 62, passed away Dec. 4, 2019 at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer.
