Sigrun “Sigi” Thissell, 81, of Friendship, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease with loving family by her side on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at Breakwater Commons in Rockland.

Howard A. Kaler, 85, of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Nov. 20, 2024, at VA Togus Hospital in Augusta. Howard was born on July 29, 1939, to parents Andrew C. and Jessie M. (Genthner) Kaler.

David Thomas Roper has completed his work on Earth, and, surrounded by his family and loved ones, has left to be with his lord. David was born May 7, 1947, at Maud Boyd’s place in Pittston, to Thomas and Ruth Graffam Roper.

Joyce Gleason Dodge, 92, of Pemaquid Beach, died at home with family by her side on Nov. 10, 2024. Originally from Connecticut, she more recently lived in Bedford, Belmont, and Lexington, Mass., spending winters in Siesta Key, Fla. Joyce moved to Belmont in the early 1960s where she met the love of her life, Jake Dodge. They were married in their home in Pemaquid Beach in May 1966.

A month shy of his 90th birthday, Albert C. Sirois passed away on Nov. 19, 2024, at home surrounded by those who loved him. He was born in Salem, Mass. on Dec. 14, 1934. He was the son of Grace I. Sirois and Albert R. Sirois.

Claude Crocker Elliott Sr., 75, of Harpswell, passed away after a long battle with heart disease on Nov. 20, 2024. Born in Damariscotta on June 24, 1949, he was the son of Joyce Crocker Coleman and Norman Elliott Jr., of Bristol.

Arlen Walter Brown born on Aug. 14, 1957 in East Millinockett, passed into eternal life on Oct. 30, 2024, at 68 years of age.

Loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend Patricia (Gallant) Collamore, 70, passed peacefully away on Nov. 2, 2024 at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta.

After 92 years and three months, Jeanette Ava (Morton) Pierce has departed this world after a year-and-a-half battle with cancer.

Carroll Arthur Lermond, of Barefoot Bay, Fla. and Damariscotta, went to be with his lord and savior on the morning of Nov. 12, 2024.

Stanley Raymond Waltz, 71, of Nobleboro, passed away on the afternoon of Nov. 11, 2024 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. Born on May 31, 1953 in Damariscotta, he was the son of Raymond and Shirley (Hodgkins) Waltz.

Eric Michael Nager, age 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 13, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, known for his strong will and resilience in the face of chronic pain.
