We are saddened to announce the passing of Harry Donald Shea on Sept. 13, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Born Aug. 5, 1947, to proud parents Lucille (Quinnam) and Donald Shea, Harry grew up in a close-knit family in Wiscasset, as an active youngster, ball player, and industrious paperboy. At Wiscasset High School, Harry served as president and graduated valedictorian of the class of ‘65. He was also a four-sport varsity athlete and involved in many clubs, including National Honor Society and the now-extinct “Slide Rule Club.”

On Sept. 24, Joseph N. Barth, of Alna, a builder, poet, author, musician, and dog whisperer, passed away peacefully at his home after 24 years with Parkinson’s disease. He was born April 28, 1948 in Miami, Fla., the son of the Rev. Joseph Barth Sr. and Ramona (Sawyer) Barth.

N. Katherine Dodge Rice, 86, passed away on the afternoon of Sept. 26, 2024, at her home in Walpole, surrounded by her husband Chester, her daughters Kim, Ricki, and Amy, granddaughter Morgan, and Lucky, her faithful companion.

Marie V. Burnheimer Pinkham Roberts, 105, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2024. Marie was born on Aug. 16, 1919, to John and Glenys (Oliver) Burnheimer.

C. Michael “Mikey” Baston, of Winthrop, died peacefully on Sept. 14, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, just days before his 75th birthday.

Stanley “Swing” Lewis, 96, a lifelong resident of Boothbay, passed away Sept. 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Andrew Richard “Rick” Donaldson passed away on Sept. 4, 2024. He was born Dec. 21, 1942, to Andrew Donaldson Jr. and Nancy A. Donaldson, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In the early hours of Sept. 18, 2024, the world lost a good man.
Dale Adams Prentice was born at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta on June 5, 1949.

Linwood G. Boynton, 81, of Hertford, N.C., passed on Sept. 19, 2024. He was born on Aug. 27, 1943, the son of Pearl and Marie (Feyler) Boynton.

Elizabeth Croxford Ross passed away on Sept. 12, 2024 at Pinnacle Health and Rehab in South Portland.

Michael Charles Kinney passed away on Aug. 16, 2024, at the age of 65.

Jeffery M. Hilton, 71, of Nobleboro passed away peacefully on Aug. 13, 2024, at his home with his family and beloved dog, Petty, by his side. Jeff, aka Mole Man, was born on Feb. 10, 1953, son of Jerome M. Hilton and Marion Creamer Hilton.
