The world lost an excellent brother, uncle, friend, and machinist as Carl D. Waterman passed away at home in Waldoboro on Oct. 25, 2024, after a period of failing health. Carl was born to the late Drs. Richard and Dorothy Waterman, on Feb. 20, 1954, and lived his life in Waldoboro.

Kevin Leigh Benner Jr., 37, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 at Delray Medical Center, after a sudden brain injury. Kevin was born on Jan. 6, 1987 in Bath, the son of Kevin L. and Rhonda Storer Benner.

Michael A. Cheney, 68, of Dresden, passed away Oct. 19, 2024, in the comfort of his home with his wife and son by his side. Mike was born in Gardiner, Feb. 20, 1956, to Darrell and Inez Cheney.

Charlotte Amalie Peterson, 50, of Damariscotta and Round Pond, passed away on the evening of Oct. 18, 2024. Born at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on July 25, 1974, and raised in Lancaster, Ohio, she was the daughter of Randall and Jean Peterson.

Dana James Simmons, 88, of St. George, passed away Oct. 24, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born in Rockland, on June 25, 1936, to Ivan H. and Doris (Murphy) Simmons.

Madeline Ann Dodge, 86, of Newcastle, passed away on Oct. 22, 2024, after a period of declining health. She was born on March 5, 1938, in Augusta, to Fred and Yvonne (Lebel) Danforth.

Lee Nelson Cunningham, 88, of Round Pond, passed away on the morning of Oct. 26, 2024 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, with his loving family by his side. Born in Gardner, Mass. on Feb. 10, 1936, he was the son of William and Delma (Nelson) Cunningham.

Geoffrey Keating Mosher, born to James E. Mosher and Ursula Hanley Mosher on May 5, 1934 in Gardiner, passed away on the evening of Oct. 22, 2024 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Katherine S. Reed, 43, of Waldoboro, joined the loved ones she missed so much on Oct. 19, 2024. Katie was born on June 13, 1981, in Augusta, to her parents Ronald and Sara Reed. She grew up in Waldoboro and Bristol.

Dawn R. Robert, 46, Bath, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by family.

Wilfred “Will” J. White, 80, of the Old Brunswick Road, Bath, passed away peacefully at the Woodlands Memory Care of Lewiston on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024.

Richard B. Gallion, 77, of Jefferson, died suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

David E. Raymond, 82, sculptor, painter, poet, writer, professor, and very funny guy, died in the early morning of Sept. 30, 2024, at his home in Damariscotta, with his wife, Kim, by his side, and his cat, Mack, on his lap.
