Judith Ann (Benner) Gifford passed away her home on Nov. 6, 2022, with her loving family by her side.

The Chris Elliott potluck dinner memorial will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Sheepscot Community Clubhouse, (aka Harriet Bird Clubhouse) in Sheepscot Village, Newcastle.

Nelson “Sam” Ward Bailey Jr. died peacefully on Nov. 4, 2022 following a period of declining health. He was born on Aug. 3, 1936 to Nelson and Marion Bailey in Damariscotta and raised in Newcastle. He spent his summers at Willow Beach Camps on China Lake.

Gregory James Buhyoff left us peacefully on Oct. 31, 2022 after a short illness. Greg was born on Sept. 22, 1948 in Detroit, Mich., the eldest child of Gregory John and Josephine Bandyk Buhyoff. He was raised in Dearborn, Mich.

Joe Wilbur Cowing, 89, of Dresden, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022 at St. Andrews/Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edward Jonas Gildersleeve III, beloved husband, father, poppy, great poppy, and friend to many. He passed away on Oct. 5, 2022 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Loreta M. Vedasto, 81, passed away peacefully on the evening of Oct. 28, 2022 at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.

Gary Lynn Clifford, 71, passed away on Oct. 30, 2022 at Mid Coast Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

William J. “Bill” Benner, 58, of Nobleboro, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Mid Coast Hospital on Oct. 15, 2022.

David Preston Lampton, 78, died in home hospice care on Sept. 22, 2022, in Los Gatos, Calif. He was born on June 4, 1944, in Boston to Maurine (Aydelotte) and Preston W. Lampton.
