Sally Anne Morton Leeman, of South Bristol, passed away peacefully with her husband holding her hand, on the evening of her 80th birthday, Sept. 15, 2022. She was born in Newcastle on Sept. 15, 1942 to Harold and Edith (Wellman) Morton.

Joseph F. Wilkey, 80, of Auburn, formerly of Boothbay, passed away peacefully at CMMC in Lewiston in the early hours of Sept. 7, 2022 with his loving wife of 35 years by his side.

LaVonne M. (Gould) Beal, 85, of Waldoboro, passed into eternity to be spent with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 15, 2022.

Lawrence Herbert Machia, 80, of Damariscotta, formerly of Warren, passed away on the morning of Sept. 12, 2022 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born on Dec. 12, 1941 in Barre, Vt., he was the son of Lawrence and Lorena Machia.

Richard A. Scheffler, 88, passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2022 at his home in Jefferson surrounded by his loving family. Rich was born on Dec. 29, 1933 in New York City the son of the late Alfred and Christine (Bauer) Scheffler.

Sylvia Elaine Pelletier, 71, of North End Road, Westport Island, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at Mid Coast Senior Health in Brunswick.

James Edward Benner Sr. passed away Sept. 9, 2022, unexpectedly in his home, where he wanted to be.

Susan Emerson Kimmich, 79, of Damariscotta and Greenville Junction, passed away at Northern Lights Hospital in Greenville on Sept. 6, 2022 after a brief illness with her loving family by her side. Sue was born Jan. 15, 1943, to Alden Clifford Emerson and Phyllis (Trott) Emerson. On June 9, 1973, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Kimmich.
