Six months into his job as a full-time officer with the Damariscotta Police Department, Joseph Booth said he is glad to be back home in Maine after years stationed overseas and around the country with the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.

Vehicles Must Be Registered Before July 11

The Damariscotta Police Department is reminding residents to renew vehicle registrations, register new vehicles, and complete state inspections, if necessary, before July 11, when enforcement of registration and inspection will resume.

Local Man Named Maine Warden of the Year

at

Maine Game Warden Joey Lefebvre was named the Maine Warden Service’s 2019 Warden of the Year on Thursday, June 25. Lefebvre, who has been a game warden for 25 years, mostly in Lincoln and Knox counties, said this is his final year.
