Camden Rockport boys and girls ran to Busline League cross country championships on Oct. 20 in Belfast. Camden girls took the top five spots for a perfect score of 15, led by race winner Flynn Layton in 13:36.

Lincoln Academy Boys and Girls Win KVAC Cross Country Championships Audrey Hufnagel and Liam Card KVAC Class B runner-ups
Lincoln Academy boys and girls cross country teams ran to KVAC Class B championships on October 15 at Cony High School in Augusta. The Lady Eagles successfully defended their 2021 title by placing five scoring runners in the top 15. Audrey Hufnagel placed second, Adeline Hall fifth, Dylan Burmeister sixth, Madeline Kallin 10th, and Maggie Thompson 15th.
Boothbay-Wiscasset Girls Win MVC Championship Boys second
Boothbay-Wiscasset girls cross country team placed three runners in the top 10 to win the MVC championship on October 15 at UMA in Augusta. The Seahawks were led by Larua Chapman (8th), Jullia Truesdell (9th), and Emily Gilliam (10th).
KVAC Cross Country Delayed Two Hours 1 p.m. start
The KVAC cross country championships, to be held Saturday, October 14, will now start at 1 p.m. to allow for course clean-up due to the storm.

Medomak and Erskine Split Games Lady Panthers win
Medomak Valley girls soccer team defeated Erskine Academy 2-1 on Oct. 13 in South China. Both Lady Panther goals came on Haylee Chandler corner kicks. The first goal was headed in by Sara Nelson four and a half minutes into the contest. Scarlett Flint headed in the second goal with 28:36 to go in the half. Erskine’s Gabby Sasse scored a first half goal.

Lincoln Academy Girls Soccer Win Battle of the Eagles LA's game with Leavitt has been moved up to Thursday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m.
Lincoln Academy girls soccer team defeated visiting Erskine Academy 4-2 in the battle of the Eagles on Oct. 11. Lincoln saw two first half goals from Bronwen Coffin, and second half goals from Marley LeBel and Mariam DeLisle. Scoring for Erskine were Maddy Paquet and Brielle Crummett.
