Hello, everyone!

Happy November, and what a wild start to the month I’ve had! Mom brought me to see our awesome vet, Dr. Tichy. My ear was bothering me, and Mom noticed that I was losing some weight. Mom assumed that I’m getting older, and that losing some weight was just part of the process. She asked the vet tech about getting supplements for me, and that’s when everything happened fast.

Olive M. Snow passed away during the afternoon of Nov. 17, 2020 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta surrounded by her children. Born in Brownville Junction on June 24, 1935, she was the daughter of Daniel Manzer and Lila (Craig) Manzer and the youngest of three children.

Wreath-Making Event to Support Affordable Housing

The Lincoln County Council of the Maine Board of Realtors will host a wreath-making event to raise money for affordable housing at Farrin Properties, 767 Main St., Damariscotta, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21. The rain date is Sunday, Nov. 22.

Sylvia Irene Lane, 74, passed away Nov. 14, 2020 in Livermore. She was born New Year’s Eve of 1945 in Damariscotta, the daughter of Manley and Ella E. (Gamage) Lane. A native of South Bristol, she was the great-granddaughter of Harvey Gamage, the master boat builder in South Bristol.

Michael Phillip Tillson, 60, of Jefferson, owner of Mobile Home Parts Unlimited and Goodwill Bottle Redemption of Chelsea, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, after an extended illness, at MaineGeneral in Augusta.
