Stanley N. Crosby, age 79, formerly of Jefferson, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Augusta Center for Health and Rehabilitation following a long illness. He was born in Massachusetts on Nov. 19, 1940, a son of the late Donald and Alice (Tierney) Crosby.

Arnold “Arnie” Gamage Jr., 67, of South Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of March 4, 2020 in Rockport. Born in Damariscotta on Dec. 31, 1952, he was the son of Arnold Sr. and Gloria (Chipman) Gamage.

The project encourages anyone interested, from local artists to businesses, students, organizations, birders, and individuals, to use their creativity to grace the gardens with handcrafted birdhouses, from wildly creative works of art to functional, environmentally friendly, and durable structures.

Arnold Gamage Jr. Service Announcement

Arnold Gamage Jr., 67, of South Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of March 4, 2020. A memorial service for Arnie will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, March 10 at St. Patrick’s Church in Newcastle. He will be laid to rest privately at a later date.

Sandra Cook Hendrix, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 after a nine-month battle with cancer. She was intelligent, strong, and determined and faced her passing with courage and dignity.
