Debra “Deb” E. Schaffer, 75, of Wiscasset and Kettering, Ohio, passed away at her home on Oct. 7, 2021. Born on July 3, 1946, in Michigan, she was the daughter of William and Dorothea (Zelke) Bates. Deb grew up in Ohio, where she attended local schools.

With deep sadness in our hearts, we announce that on Oct. 7, 2021, we lost the love of our lives, our hero, and our champion, Forest Peaslee, to an unexpected illness.

Wilmer “Bill” James, 87, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at his home in Wiscasset surrounded by his loving family.

Christopher D. Vinal passed away peacefully on Oct. 8, 2021, in Portland after a long illness. He was born Jan. 12, 1966, in Damariscotta to Lester and Willa Vinal of Nobleboro.

Barbara Frances Hayes was born Dec. 5, 1936, in Augusta to Gordon S. Hayes and Frances Ley Hayes.

Dick was born and raised in Newburyport, Mass. He died of cancer at the veteran’s hospital in Augusta.

Joshua John Arnedt died peacefully in his sleep on Oct. 2, 2021, at his home in Bath. He was 50 years old.

Margaret Wirth deMille Buchanan, known to everyone as Peggy, passed away on Oct. 5, 2021, at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Randal S. (Randy) Hersom, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 3, 2021.

Kali Anne Loubier, 45, died unexpectedly Sept. 29, 2021, in Warren.

Sandra S. Crehore, 85, of Westport Island, died of natural causes rather suddenly late Sept. 30, 2021. Her children were together and she was calm and comfortable.

On Sept. 28, 2021, William “Bill” McCormick Robinson was blessed to die peacefully and with dignity at home, surrounded by love and with family by his side. He joins his wife of nearly 70 years, Sally, who had passed on May 26, 2020.
