Leora (Lee) Robbins of New Harbor passed away peacefully at LincolnHealth-Miles Campus in Damariscotta, surrounded by family on Aug. 17, 2021. Her gentle humor, loving spirit, and interest in the world lasted until her final days. A generous and devoted matriarch to a large extended family, Lee was a lover of books, animals, and the wonders of life in general.

Wanda Mae Decker Macnair of Cambridge, Mass., passed away peacefully at Brightview Senior Living in Arlington, Mass. on Aug. 19, 2021.

Joan Niles, 88, died peacefully at Penney Farms Retirement Community in Florida on Aug. 8, 2021 and will be dearly missed. Her family has lived on Rutherford Island since the early 1950s.

The Reverend Charles “Chuck” Allan Reinhardt, of Eugene, Ore. — beloved minister, deeply thoughtful humanist, dedicated activist of civil and social justice — passed away on Aug. 9, 2021, aged 94.

Diane Leslie Blake passed away after a long battle with cancer on Aug. 16, 2021, at Sussman House in Rockport. Born Dec. 7, 1944, she was the youngest of three daughters born to William F. Blaisdell and Eleanor E. Blaisdell.

John Barton Haines, of Deland, Fla., and until recently of Damariscotta, died peacefully on Aug. 13, 2021, after a short illness. He was the eldest son of Reuben and Sara (Sally) Emery Haines and was born in Massena, N.Y., on Oct. 16, 1941.

Marie E. Webber, 74 of Damariscotta, passed away on the morning of Aug. 14, 2021, at the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta. Born in Augusta on April 22, 1947, she was the daughter of Danville Rogers, Sr., and Gertrude (Sidelinger) Rogers.

Edmund Joseph Blier, 82, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at Country Manor Nursing Home in Coopers Mills.

Roger James Selverstone, 59, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, on Aug. 8, 2021, at the family cottage in Chamberlain. He was born on Feb. 14, 1962, in Cambridge, Mass., and attended Shady Hill School, Cambridge School of Weston, and Bowdoin College.

Donald Drown Morey, 83, of Whitefield, went to be with his Lord on Aug, 10, 2021. The son of William and Marion Drown Morey, he was born in Erie, Penn. on June 25, 1938. 

Fred Chasse passed away on May 28, 2021, in the arms of his wife of 63 years, Mickey, surrounded by those that loved him.
