Malcolm O. Peck died peacefully at home in Jefferson on Jan. 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family who supported him incredibly until he passed.

Richard “Dickie” E. Mansir, 80, of Wiscasset, also of Florida, passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, in Florida.

Frances Baker, 106, of Jersey City, N.J., died on Dec. 29, 2020. Frances was born on April 4, 1914 in Cushing, to parents Ernest Crute and Olivia Wallace Crute.

Gertrude B. (York) Curtis, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Damariscotta on the evening of Jan. 2, 2021. Trudi was born on Jan. 11, 1927 in Salem, Mass. She grew up and attended schools there, graduating high school in 1945.

Howard James Plummer, 81, of Damariscotta, passed away at his home on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.

Terry Lynn Donahue, 61, of Damariscotta, passed away at her home on the morning of Dec. 29, 2020.

Bill Shuman passed away suddenly on Dec. 30, 2020, in Damariscotta, just shy of his 96th birthday.

Wilbur “Bill” C. Weeks, 95, formerly of Owls Head, passed away at Windward Gardens in Camden on Christmas afternoon. He was born on May 1, 1925 in Orono, the son of Donald and Natalie (Vaughn) Weeks.

Caroline Bedell Norwood, of Westport, Nova Scotia, died in the early morning hours of Dec. 23, 2020. She was born Nov. 10, 1937, in White Plains, N.Y., the daughter of Charlotte Green Bedell and Frank Gascoigne Bedell, and was raised in Jacksonville, Fla.

William “Bill” T. Cost Jr., 80, passed away Dec. 18, 2020. He was born Nov. 3, 1940, in Holden, Mass., the son of Barbara Cost Cowan (husband, George) and William Cost Sr. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by first wife, Dorothy B. Cost of Edgecomb; and sons, Richard R. Cost and David A. Cost.

Eleanor Ricker Bickford O’Donnell died peacefully on Dec. 27, 2020 at the age of 90 at her latest residence, The Lincoln Home in Newcastle.

William A. Rice, 97, of Damariscotta, passed away on Dec. 22, 2020. Born in South Bristol on May 16, 1923, he was the son of Maude (Robinson) and Parker Rice.

Margaret Avis Kallberg Anderson was born on Dec. 13, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minn. and passed away Dec. 21, 2020, in Damariscotta. She was the younger daughter of her parents, Edna Ziebarth and Clarence Kallberg.

Zachary Michael Winpenny, aka Zak, Winny, and Chicken Nugget, left this world too soon on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was only 17.
