It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aldeverd “Al” L. Robbins, who departed this world on Feb. 23, 2025 at Maine General in Augusta with his loving wife, Myrna, by his side. Al was born on June 7, 1956 in Hope, to Aldeverd M. and Louise (Collins) Robbins. Al lived a life filled with dedication to his family, community, and passions.

Sarah (Larlee) Jandreau passed away at home on Feb. 14, 2025 surrounded by her family. Sarah was born on June 13, 1961 and was raised in Millinocket. After graduating from Stearns High School in 1979, Sarah married her high school sweetheart, Dale; they lived in California, New York, and Limestone while Dale served in the U.S. Air Force. Sarah was a devoted wife and mother, a homeschool advocate, and was passionate about education and literacy.

Madelyn Verney Pierce passed away peacefully of complications associated with living a long, lovely life on Monday, Feb. 24.

Rita Marie Pelletier, 87, passed away on Feb. 19, 2025 in Union, with her loved ones around her after a short illness. She was born on Sept. 2, 1937 in Fort Kent, to James and Cecile Pelletier.

Aldeverd “Al” Robbins, 68, of Union, formerly of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Feb. 23, 2025 at Maine General in Augusta with his loving wife by his side.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Edward Taylor on Feb. 19, 2025, at the age of 67, in his beautiful home on Damariscotta Lake in Nobleboro. Doug was born on May 22, 1957, in Pawtucket, R.I., to Joseph (who has passed) and Marjorie Taylor (who is still with us).

Jennifer Lynn Young, 50, of South Bristol, passed away on the morning of Feb. 13, 2025, at home surrounded by loving family. Born on Jan. 6, 1975 she was the daughter of Clyde and Susan DeCoster.

Hilma Jeanette Foster passed away peacefully on the morning of Feb. 17, 2025 at her home of 63 years in Waldoboro surrounded by her loving family.

Millie was born on Sept. 17, 1955, at Fort Benning, Ga.

Ann Niles, of Whitefield, died peacefully on Jan. 12, 2025, with her sons at her side.

Darrylyn K. Costigan, 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Waldoboro on Feb. 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Lincoln on Nov. 9, 1952, to Cecil and Nellie (Ireland) Tibbetts.
